Is Rob a Raider? I personally think that Bobby does not have much gas left, but I read he is a possibility in Miami. And does Ty Law think he's really going to get a three year deal? I like the one-year, take it or leave it approach. A healthy Law, could get what ever he wanted. What do you die-harders think? WAR FINSSS!!!!

Are you a Jim Rome Clone?

Rob is retired...Bobby Taylor is up in the air and I still dont see Law in Miami.

The only way we should bring in Ty Law is if his contract is very small and nearly completely based on incentives. If we hand him a boat load of money (or any team for that matter) they will be paying for about 50 - 60% of Ty Law because he won't be playing up to his potential. But if he HAS to play to get paid we will get a pro-bowl caliber athlete.

I'd like to see Law come but that will only happen if no one else bids for him and actually considers his 3 year demands. Bobby Taylor might be a good temporary solution.

I think Law will end up on a team that is a contender so he can get bonus money to make up for the lack of a big contract.Even though KC signed Surtain they may make a play for him as well.

I live in the Seattle area. Taylor is washed up. I am crossing my fingers that we do not sign him. Seattle signed him, thinking he was a potential starter. Turned out he was not even up to being the regular nickel guy.

That would be pretty sick if they got him and he came around their secondary would be off the hook.

I agree. I think Taylor sucks also. He's a scrub and would not upgrade us at all, IMHO. If they are looking at him, hell, we shoulda just kept Arturio Freeman!

I would be fine with Taylor if he came in to compete at FS but not CB.

You guys have to realize that there are a lot of good players still out there that come with some baggage, that's why they're out there. Players like Koren Robinson, Ty Law, Anthony Simmons, Bobby Taylor, Lance Schulters, etc... Last year Jeremiah Trotter was a player with ?s & he wound up making the pro bowl.

Law can't just sit out a year, that would just raise more questions about his health, so he will at some point need to catch on with a team. He can wait and hope a team loses a starter or two to injuries and are desperate but not many have much cap room left.

I'd put his odds at ending up in Miami at 50/50. A one year deal for $1-2 million with incentives. Then he can try for one last big contract in 2006.
