Robert Hunt murdering defenders

So it doesn't matter what we think, the kid can run block! He's part of a mostly awful o-line and he's still looking good out there on game day. Jackson HAS TO clean up the penalties which all seem to occur at the worst possible times. It's almost always false start #73!! Or holding #73!! Or else the knucklehead goes too far downfield and draws the flag. Ineligible man downfield #73!! He less awful at Guard and is improving but the flags are too many for one player!! The guy is hurting us and I'm tired of seeing the flags every week! C'mon Austin!!!! Maybe Dieter will start against the Giants, that would help. I can't believe Kindley can't get on the field. Coming out of Georgia at 6'4" and 320 (at least!!) I thought we had a big, tough guy with a nasty attitude. What we got was a guy who can't crack the lineup and let's Jesse Davis start in his place. Kindley is a royal disappointment this season. He's done zero. Why can't they get some game out of him?? He was part of a good line at Georgia.
If he could play better than either of our two starting Guards he would be starting.

Doesn't mean he's far behind. Doesn't mean if he got an opportunity he wouldn't run with it. Doesn't mean he can't improve and start for us in the future.

Hunt has not played particularly well this season. Every one of those first five plays, he got moved back. He may have eventually won but not initially. He's not dominate.

He still needs work with his hands. You can see it in the video and I have seen it many times this season, his punch starts from the outside and hit more on the shoulders then in the check. This allows the defender to get the initial push. Hunt being so big and strong he can usually over come this and wins more then he loses. He needs work on his hands hitting the defender in the chest and not the shoulders, this will help him get them on their heels, and once he does that it's game over.

That's just something I see from him. He's still blocking like an OT and not and OG.
That must be what their taught by the coach? All of our linemen grab instead of punching, as if to control instead of drive the ****er out of there. Aj did that constantly at LT and it cost him his job. Maybe if he stoned them ( with the punch) at the line every once in a while instead of retreating every damn time he might have a little (!) more successful.

First season at Guard in the NFL. any reason to think he can't become a dominant Guard for us?

(with a revolving door of street free agents on one side of him, and Messie Messie Davis on the other side?)

None at all, just not there yet. A real OL coach would definitely help... Them all!

And Kindley is even better!! Which makes this benching of his and the dollar sign deciding who plays and not overall talent even more hard to take while watching this mess. THIS VIDEO was done at end of last season and after kindley was FINALY put at left guard (his natural position) after returning from injury mid season, he was obviously on his way. The two tackles miami drafted and paid all that money to busted big time at the position, jackson being the worst (and highest paid).

As soon as last year ended, hunt was going to rt guard. Then when this offseason started and jackson regressed the brass went into uh-oh mode. So, someone had to go and someone had to change to not only hide grier's awful choices that failed but also have some use for covering jackson's bloated salary leaving kindley holding the bag and jackson moved into his slot. PLEASE, Watch this video it gives great insight and film on kindley (and hunt).

Didn't Kindley come in out of shape and overweight? That played a part in it

For now, I expect 2 new OLmen at most. Hunt is a keeper, the team's opinion of Deiter is unknown, and it's reasonable to think at least one of Jax, eich, or Kindley will get a spot. Not my ideal, but most likely
Kindley is a goner.

When one of those OG's is Austin Jackson.. ..that is exactly what it means.

austin jackson starting at LG right at this moment, exactly means that kindley (and any other guard on our roster) will never start for us?
