I Know WR may not be the biggest need right now but i can't stand watching Hartline anymore. To think this guy is still on this team and making such minimal impact is ridiculous. Brian Robiskie I saw was waived. Now i know he has been a bust but DaBoll should know him and he should know this offense. He was the 36th pick of the draft in '09 and it's not easy to find a 6'3" 210 guy that can run. There has to be some advantage we can leverage with our record so bad - only Indy would have a higher waive claim than us i would think. It would seem like a no brainer to check him out for the little it would cost. It's not like Hartline is all of a sudden going to light it up.

sure why not, doesn't hurt to look. though i think our team feels they're deep at the position, even though we only have 2 good receivers.

Hey! It's another 'So and so got cut from so and so team, should we pick him up?' thread!! Been a while since I saw one of these around here.

This post is further proof of exactly how little and how foolish fans who think they know something about personnel can be. Not only has Hartline pretty much been one of the few receivers on this team who has shown an ability to make a play, he may very well be the most athletic of ALL of our receivers, #19 included.

As far as Robiskie is concerned, having watched damned near every game BOTH Robskie and Hartline played at OSU and in the NFL (I see plenty of the Browns) Hartline is, without question, the better receiver.

Even if WR was by far the biggest need of this team, Robiskie wouldn't help in the slightest. He's terrible.

You want Robiske over Hartline...? You must not be watching games

Just my opinion but I feel like Hartline is the best receiver on our roster.

i think its comical when people always want to pick someone up who is released mid season. why do you think they were released, because they are on their way to the pro bowl? No, its because they blow. if they were somewhat good, they would not be cut mid season for no reason.

When your team is 0-7 you may as well look at other teams trash because obviously the guys we have aren't that good. Unless you are of course one of those that thinks this team with one player changed is a playoff team. Get real - they are 0-7 for a reason - minimal to zero playmakers. Now is Robiskie a playmaker - i have no clue and haven't seen him play with the Browns. I saw him waived so just asked the question. Moore was put on IR so there is a need there.

As for Hartline i think the question to you is do you watch football? The most athletic WR we have? Then we are really screwed!! I would have to guess BMarsh would be a bit more athletic than Hartline as well as Bess. And Moore - please - much more athletic. Hartline would not make the rosters of at least half the teams if not more. You will see when he finally gets cut and nobody picks him up how bad he is. Decent hands now and then although he has had a few drops but he can't get open most of the time. I am still waiting for his athletic ability and speed to take one to the house this year. They should have kept Camarillo over Hartline - he was a terrible pick only masked by the fact that Turner was a much worse pick. A new regime will come in and blow him out so fast.

As for Hartline making a play - really?? What play did he make that changd the game and led us to victory?? Was it all those endzone lob passes that for some reason Henne kept throwing him instead of BMarsh earlier in the year?? Hartline did good jobs there on those passes getting seperation - wait that's right he couldn't because he was too busy slipping on the field and falling down!! First thing he needs to do is actually stay up on his feet in order to catch a pass and not leave his QB hanging out to dry.

Robiskie might be a waste but at 0-7 i only threw it out there because at this point there is not much to lose.

What are you on? Hartline wouldn't make half the team's rosters? Lmao okay. You're on your own planet man

Robiskie was cut by Cleveland yesterday

With the Dolphins needing receivers and Robiskie familiar with the offense coming from Cleveland, do you think Miami claims him?

Could happen, If Miami does not I expect NE to claim him.
