Cliche, I know, but seriously. Everyone is getting way too worked up about this Texans loss. Yes we didn't play that well, yes we probably should've won.

But I see way too many people going crazy about this loss saying it has ruined our playoff chances and whatnot.

Remember, we went 1-15 last year. We still have the same secondary as last year. This is season 1 of the rebuilding process, and it's just that, a process. Pennington is a stop-gap, our lines are incomplete still, our defense and recievers are garden variety at best.

Even if we were to make the playoffs this year, which is far and beyond pre-season expectations, there is little chance we would make it far with our very weak secondary, weak recieving core and mediocre, noodle armed quarterback.

I think the back to back wins against two of last year's powerhouse teams have spoiled some of the fans around here and now expectations for the Dolphins are becoming somewhat unrealistic. Keep in mind that both the Patriots and Chargers are struggling this season.

We came up against a winless team today, who suffered two heart wrenching losses in the final minutes, and were desperate for a win. That's a very dangerous team to play against, and I think they just wanted it more.

I'm still optimistic the Dolphins will have a solid season but remember, Rome wasn't build in a day.

you are absolutely right....Rome wasn't built in a day....too many people on here with expectations that're beyond where our team is right now...we're gonna win some and lose some...it does suck that we lost to the Texans yet again, but they showed they wanted the game more than we did....we'll do better this year than we did last, but just remember,we're still not where we're gonna be at in a few years...keep the faith my fellow phin fans....

And I'm sick of people being unrealistic regarding the Dolphins, only to consistently rip on them when their expecations are not met.

unrealistic?

all the mistakes were coaching mistakes not personel except for the secondary.

running 6 timesa in a row w/out a single pass is the play claling HENCE the coaches.

6 inches to go and no confidence in a QB sneak? coaching again.

should i continue? NO QB SPY with 4 yards to go another COACHING issue. coaching has ntn to do wiht damn rome or a 2-3 yr process! players do not coaching mistakes.

I hate how some people think that their opinion is all that matters and if they think it, it is so!

Some people forget that when we originally wrote up predictions and such that san diego and new england were pretty much definite losses for many of us. we simply overachieved during those games. We are not so good that a loss is unacceptable. I don't enjoy it anymore than you guys but you need to understand that this is still a rebuilding team and we have a lot of work ahead of us.

Be patient! Relax! Take a little break from worrying about the dolphins and come back tomorrow.

Yeh, and what happens if the QB sneak gets blown up (which can happen)? Then the Texans are sitting pretty on our side of the field. Of all things that went down today, this is not one I'm looking back on.

Yeah i know i'm just kidding

I know this team is working to build for the future, but it just hurts in the present when they lose games like today.

I definitely agree. It hurts. Losing sucks. Always. Period. Unless it is the Jets losing, in which case it is good.

Truthfully, I think most people here agree with you. There are one or two people who make it sound like they are saying Sparano can't coach at all. Most people are just upset that we lost. That is ok right? Other than that, I don't see too many people saying, fire TS because we won't make the playoffs this year.

Running the ball is our stength. Pennington is not going to win games, his job is to not lose them. He nearly did lose the game with a pick, but we got lucky and forced the fumble to get it back. Not to mention our recievers are nothing special.

Running the ball is our stength period. You're not pissed that we ran the ball, you're pissed that we lost. If we were successful and got first downs on the ground, like we did against the Chargers, you wouldn't be complaining.

For the large majority of the second half, our o-line was getting little to no push. They weren't playing well today. I wouldn't have a ton of confidence in a QB sneak either today.

Hindsight is 20 20. It's always easy to criticize after the fact. If Andre Johnson didn't make that spectacular catch, if Lehan had gotten that pick, if Porter had forced a fumble and it wasn't an incomplete pass, then you wouldn't be complaining so just stop.

rome shome pleasee we had this game in our hands plain and simple the coaches lost this game we have a legitimate shot of making the playoffs with the way we played the last 2 games and then this bull **** please we shoulda won no doubt about it 1 -15 team is COMPLETELY GONE no excuses wat so ever horrible horrible game in the end
