Daunte Culpepper is the quarterback I'm looking forward to watching his week. He's struggled so far this season as he hasn't been seeing the field well at all, but after watching tape and knowing that he's facing the Tennessee Titans, I think he's going to bust out of it this week. The Titans' defense simply isn't playing that well and the secondary could get shredded by Culpepper if he uses his receivers and takes his time. He looks like he's rushing it out there and trying to do too much, instead of letting the game come to him. Everyone talks about Culpepper's mobility when they discuss his talents, but the key to being a great quarterback doesn't reside in the legs … it resides above the neck, and he hasn't been utilizing it as much as he should be. Culpepper has great physical gifts, but the reason why he was becoming one of the NFL's elite quarterbacks is because of the way his game matured. He was able to read defenses and progressions. It's time for him to return to that version of Daunte Culpepper.

Sorry, but the knock on Daunte throughout his pro career is that his game didn't mature. He makes the same inopportune, jackass plays as he did when he was a first year starter. He still misses open receivers. He still doesn't read defenses well. Now, being less mobile and playing without the intimidating presence of Randy Moss, his flaws are being unmasked by good Ds.

Sooooo if he does well this week it's because of a weak defense right? I like how you cover yourself with that added comment....

Of every analyst out their I respect what Jaws has to say alot more than most, he is one of the best when it comes down to breaking down film and plays.

However I will reserve judgement on these comments until i watch the game tomorrow.

I think one thing to consider is that, we have seen culpepper at his worst, and we were still in the games. Just imagine how we will be in game when he is "decent". He needs confidence, just give him time, Once he has a good game he will have that back and everything will be alright.

that is a very good point, when pepp played bad our defense did well, besides our secondary for the most part

I hope so!!! I'm starting CPep instead of Carson Palmer this week. I hope I'm right because benching Palmer any week in Fantasy Football is down right foolish. Go Culpepper!!!!:dolphins:

dont do that...

I am going to start Welker and CC as my Fantasy Football receivers tomorrow. I feel a big game for both.

lets blame the losing on the offense... nothings changed since the days with a crappy offense, i want them to impress me, and they have only done that this year a few times they moved the chains, then gone and pulled a 3 and out. maybe it is the offensive play calling. even with a lead 17-14 and no running game, u run the ball and pound it even if u get 3 and outs, at least the clock moves. cpep throwing 40 times is getting rediculous
