Well As you guys know Ron riviera has tryed and tryed to land a job but didn't Espn reports most likely the bears are going to cut him loose, so should we go after him and pay him less than capers and let capers go or Just bring him in as a Defensive coach for like DB or somethin like dat

Capers is a better defensive coordinator then Rivera(Lovie had a lot to do with the Bears D). Capers is actually one of the best D-coordinators in the league, and he is worth every penny that Wayne is paying him.

Cameron only needs to name a new OC and then the entire staff is complete. There is no room for Rivera, so he is going to get hired elsewhere, or sit the year out(like Jim Bates did last season).

I dont think thats a good idea. Capers was successful, here last year, why should we get rid of him? that makes no sense. plus, Cameron will run a 3-4, while Rivera is a 4-3 guy

Ron Rivera... San Diego's Linebackers Coach... WHY?!?!?!?! I'm confused lets say. In disbelief? Baffled? They lost Wade Phillips and they were in NEED of a Defensive Coordinator. Will Ron Rivera pretty much run the defense and make the calls? Possibly... well I would think so. Then again, why not just make him Defensive Coordinator? Is some type of ploy to have him as their Defensive Coordinator while paying him as a LB'ers coach? Perhaps but not wait. If that were the case why would he accept the offer from San Diego? It's 4:30 A.M. and my head is about to explode from confusion and disbelief. Maybe it's a different Ron Rivera. Yes, that's it. Perhaps it's a different Ron Rivera that we have never heard of. Yeah, that must be it! A coincidence, that's all. Ok but it's the Bears Rivera. Maybe they had two Ron Riveras that we did not know about that were competing for Defensive Coord........ eh I give up. I don't know what the hell is going on in San Diego. 14-2 team, #1 in the NFL. They lose their Offensive Coordinator and then immediately right after they lose their Defensive Coordinator and just as fast as that happened... they fired their Head Coach. Okay. Norv Turner is their head coach and Ron Rivera is now their LB'ers coach. That we do know. Why? That we do not know. Call me crazy but something tells me that a couple of those 30 remaning teams could have or would have offered Rivera a more lucrative offer as Defensive Coordinator. You can make the argument that he wants to go to a winning team even though he just came from a team that made it to Super Bowl. My mind is racing at a thousand thoughts per second and all I can think of is who is more sane at the moment... me or Britney Spears and I don't know the answer! Jesus... Maybe I would've understood a bit better why Britney shaved her head after this... maybe she was as shocked as I was about Marty being fired. NFL offseason, you've got to love it!!

wow...I was right...but I was wrong......
I bet that Ron Rivera shares your thoughts. I bet he thought he was going to end up in San Diego as their Defensive Coordinator too... he was right but yet he was wrong too. I'm still not sure what happened!
