Ron Stone for Guard?

Anyone interested in him? He's reportedly going to be cut by the 49ers. Here's his TSN rundown..


Assests- Huge, mauling run blocker. Great when he latches on. Can push his man all over the field when he's blocking in a straight line. Has some speed and can get out and crush a second-level defender.

Flaws- Has trouble moving laterally. Not a great technician.

He's 6'5", 320. He's been in the Pro Bowl the 3 years previous to this one. He's kind of old, though(32).

The Fins could need to sign 4 new starters if McKinney isn't deemed starter-worthy and Todd Wade leaves. As long as Stone is cheap..I'm ok with it. As long as they get another great guard for the other spot.
