Now i'm just starting to plain dislike this front office, and the fans on here who blindly defend them.

I know Ronnie Brown's big question mark is with his health, and it has been over his career thus far. Even coming into this season, we simply do not know if he will be the same player he looked like he was going to be last season and at times has shown he can be.

But come on....

Getting rid of Ronnie Brown?

FOR RICKY WILLIAMS NO LESS!

and you people are in SUPPORT of this!?

THE SAME PEOPLE who were ready to BURN DOWN Ricky Williams apartment in Miami after his testing positive for Marijuana use and retirement from the NFL. A positive test result that he has achieved on several occasions now (GOLD STAR FOR RICKY!).

This is how i know people are band-wagoners, and front runners. Jimmy Rollins was right!

Ronnie Brown may not exactly be the most reliable back in the NFL, especially coming off a serious ACL injury. But turning to Ricky Williams? That's like changing between two embezzling accountants.

Ronnie at least has played in the league for more than 5 carries since 2005-2006. I mean i guess turning to a guy five years out of playing his best football who's now 31 years old is a good decision......if you're an idiot.

And it's not like Ronnie Brown has proven he can't play in the NFL. We're talking about a guy with great vision, who's mix of power and speed could make him one of the better backs in the NFL if he could just stay on the field. His receiving skills are very good (perhaps not as good as Ricky's) too.

BUT KEEP ON SIPPING THAT KOOL AID FINHEAVEN!

Lol, cya. im out before trouble, before drunkies start coming in here with their eyes all watery red and start talking nonsense.

I agree, ronnie brown is a beast. He would have gone to the pro bowl last year if he didnt get injured. And if he had a good offensive line, his stats would be crazy. its not being a homer, its giving respect to your players. RB is a top 5 back in the league

Yep, he COULD be one of the better RB's, but so far he hasn't been.

Actually, I think his "Vision" is one of his problems.

When do you predict that he will break out and become one of the better backs in the NFL?

he already did last year.

Would have, if, would be, yadda yadda yadda.

WHEN has he produced like a top five back?

Well i mean his performance for Miami last season i would say displayed that.....I think his all around ability has always given him an edge over guys who are just plain better runners like a Larry Johnson.

I think Ronnie's vision and ability to find holes, playing for a very mediocre offensive line through his career thus far and still averaging 4-5 yards a carry has shown how good he is/can be.

I think youre the one sipping kool aid and its the WRONG kind. Youre sipping that Camaban flavor.

Dude, Ricky's running skills are so far superiors to Ronnie's that he makes him look like Sammie Smith. Dont get me wrong....Ronnie is a VERY GOOD player. But, Ricky when his head is on straight is one of the true elite players in this league.

Bottom line is that with Ricky this year we are good at RB. No problem dealing Ronnie because like BP says you can find gems at RB late in the draft. Happens every year, several teams find backs that make solid contributions to their team as rookies late in the draft. Alot of times teams find pure studs at the position in late rounds too.

This news of shopping Ronnie dosent surprise me seeing as BP took TWO backs late in the draft. It tells me he is trying to find that gem now so that when Henne is ready to lead us to the title we will be set up there.

If we can get good value for Ronnie we can turn that pick into a stud LB, and still find a solid back with a lesser pick. Its just good business. Plus, with Ricky here we are golden for now.

Also, we can get a good look at Parmele and we might not even need to draft more RBs if he is the goods.

Nah, the way Ricky has shown he is running like the Ricky of old, and seems to like and respect BP, we are fine for now at RB. Deal Ronnie for some good value and lets go.

If Ronnie were one of the truly elite backs in this league it would be different, but Im sure we can find someone as good or at least comperable to him with a late pick. Heck, look at Bradshaw with the Gmen.....7th rounder. The NFL is LOADED with quality talent at RB. QB on the other hand, teams are lucky to have just one good one. So it was great we got Pennington and found Henne. But at RB, there are few elite guys, but plenty of capable backs. Ronnie is in that class. We can replace him. And this season, we really dont even need him.

Again Ronnie is a very good player. But, so are about 25 other backs in this league that arent on the level of certain elite backs.

His performance last year was 602 yards and 4 TD's, hardly world class.

His vision and ability is poor, he takes too much pounding and gets injured every year. Part of being a good RB is knowing when to pound over a small DB, and knowing when to run around a huge LB. Ronnie doesn't do it right and ends up on the shelf every year, that isn't top 5.

how many games did he play in? youre actin as if you dont know that he played in only 7 games.

Yep, he can't stay healthy, top RB's make it through a full season once in a while, Ronnie hasn't done that in three years, not a top RB.

as far as i know, nobody but mort said anything about trading Ronnie Brown. I'm stoked to have two runningbacks that we can rely on. And one of them (ricky) at a bargain basement price!

Sorry, he only produced 602 yards and 4 TD's last year, near the bottom of the NFL.

Are you ? He only played 6 in games!
Now if your point is that he can't finish a season then do it in a more descriptive straight forward way not in a twisted way that is just making you look oustandantly geniouz.

Well i dont think he's top 5.....

I think there are the top tier NFL RB's

and then there's Ronnie Brown on the second level right around top 10.....

and again i disagree that his vision is poor when we've seen how this guy performs at times with such limited talent around him.

A knock i have on Ronnie is that he is very inconsistent. I mean if he was indeed a top 5 RB, he'd be rushing for 100 yards and a TD every week. Ronnie does not find the endzone very much, and his yardage totals are very spaced out as most of the time he'll rush for under 100 yards even under 70-80 yards before rolling out like a 150 yard game.
