Don't know if you guys know this but Ronnie Brown's nickname is "Hummer". I saw one of his autographed cards and it was signed Ronnie Brown, and underneath he signed "Hummer". Kinda cool. He's was the Hummer and Carnell Williams was the "Cadillac".

Here's a link to a card being sold on EBAY with his "Hummer" Autograph:

I like the Hummer nickname to go along with Cadillac. I've watched Auburn for a while so I've known about it a long time.

I'm looking forward to seeing this sign in the stadium:

"What Can Brown Do For You?"

Hopefully, the answer will be ... "Win a Superbowl!"

Yeah the main reason he got Hummer was because Cadillac had his nickname since High School so they decided to give him a vehicle nick name as well.

I think we can do better for his pro career.

Overpriced, overhyped and not exactly manueverable. Sounds about right.

Sorry, I'm just not thrilled with this pick. I agree with ESPN it was too safe. Ronnie is guaranteed to be very good but almost a sure thing not to be great. I can't remember a RB who had elusiveness questionmarks ever turning into something special. Again, just look at the basics to isolate truth. A truly great RB who never sustained a serious injury doesn't spend 5 years in college and enter the NFL at nearly 24 years old.

What can brown do for you???

Mr. Negative strikes again. Mods, can we change this guys name??? You just love to piss in everyones wheaties don't you??

I think he should get a new nickname for the pros. And Hummer is too easy to make fun of. I came up with "Touchdown Brown". What do you guys think?

Yeah I keep hearing stiff hips, but I think his age is a plus. I see soft hands, big RB power, and serious speed. I think that's rare.

Still it doesn't matter what talent we have at RB if the Oline can't improve...

Come on.. He wont be 24 until December. And by staying until he 5th year he earned himself teh #2 overall selection... I call that smart on his part. The kid is a football player that can do it all from his position. Explain this, How can someone be guarenteed to be very good, but at the same time have no chance at being Great. That doesnt seem possible. I supose you think Braylon or Benson will be great. Braylon can take this ego eslewhere.

I think that's an unfair assessment. How can you penalize a guy for staying in college? He's not almost 24. Are penalizing Benson who's "almost" 23 by your standards? Or Cadillac being only 4 months younger than Brown? There's obviously a lot to be said for these RBs that stayed in school seeing that one hasn't been drafted in the top 5 in 4 years.
