Is it the sophmore jinx or does he have no vision?
I know our o line is crap. But, come on please see the field. Any
other running back would get more yards then his dancing.
1-4 no 100 yard games yet. This guy is for real! wow
stuttering step your way Ronnie!

i still like ronnie and think he is capable of doing good things but hes just not getting much holes right now, i mean yea some of it is def credited to him and not making good decisions but he and the running game have to become more of a factor if we are going to start winning games

I saw some nice plays by Brown today but he also had alot of brutal runs.

This is the first post where I am going to say Brown had a bad game. Vital dropped pass on third down (wideopen). Not much for holes but he still just plowed into the rear ends of some of our guys when in some cases there was a big cutback lane open.

He will be good. It is just hard when your offensive coordinator likes to throw the ball at least 40 times a game.

He's not getting much holes right now? Man, I don't know what you're seeing, but not the same thing as me. How many times could he have cut right or left, but instead, ran straight into the back of the Dolphins linemen or TE and fell down? Ronnie looked like he was running with his head down and never even looked for a hole. I guarantee, Ricky would have put up 150 yards today. The NE players were pathetic and this game was there for the taking. Brown and the rest of the offense just gave the game away. Pathetic performance having to do with nothing but mistake after mistake.

Ronnie played awful today. There were many yards left on the field by his indecision, the early fumble, and the dropped pass which would have resulted in a first down. He has to play better. I was, for the first time, wishing we had Ricky to fall back on. Surprised not to see Suggs get some touches.

Agreed. He left a lot of yards out there today.

Good running vision is a gift.
With respect to just how gifted a starting back may, or may not be,
IMO should be realized, five games into the season.

ya he had a bad day, but you guys always go overboard with this stuff....

its tough on the guy when he has NO o-line blocking for him. guys, we have the worst o-line in the league... i think everyone can agree with me on that. what more do you expect of him? he isn't barry sanders!

that said, cadillac has a much better line (albeit hardly the best), and is doing worse.

Very true.

Ronnie performed admirably today, despite his fumble, which came after no less than a combination of three consecutive hits, - including Seau- before the ball eventually jarred loose.
Imo, he's a very dependable back, with numerous talents to offer, including good vision.

Exceptional vision otoh, is somewhat debatable.

39 yards?

Well, in light of those numbers, my description of his performance as "admirably", probably would of been more accurately surmised as "a meagerly" performance.
