He didn't play all that much, and you could see it was bothering him. No blinding smile the whole time.

What are your thoughts as to why? When he was in, it seemed he was the best back. That touchdown run was inspired.

In the doghouse?

Ricky that good in practice?

Cobbs?

hidden injury?

Coaches saving him for next year?

Lets hear your thoughts!

I think he has hit his version of the "rookie wall." He only played in seven games last year, so his body is still trying to readjust to a normal 16 game season.

well he still is comming off the acl injury . . . when u have guys like ricky and cobbs backing u up . . . u can afford to not tax your star RB. Soon as Ricky went down he went right in . . . I think they just decided to give him less of a workload today.

The Rams didn't seem to hesitate to use Jackson though.

What about Ronnie in the pass game?

Jackson and Brown are two different backs. Jackson is a bruiser who can give you 35 carries, when healthy. Brown is more of a scat back, he can still plow people over but he is most effective with 20-25 touches splitting time. Right now, I would just chalk it up to his body not being adjusted, you can tell he slows a little in the 2nd half. But he still got a TD and has an outside shot at 1000 yards.

i thought that he mightve got in trouble for that botched pass play. i think it clearly wouldve worked had he passed it back to penny.

jackson is the rams running game, were lucky enough to have 2 strong runners, as well as cobbs.

Astroturf is dangerous, especially coming off of an injury like his. I think they were just being cautious, hopefully anyway.

I didn't . . . I thought if he passed it back . . . the Rams were all over Chad . . . and may have caused a turnover . . . even tho Martin fumbled it away on the same play lol

That was a good play, I think Chad was cover.... it was Martin who fumble if he does not fumble we at least score 3 points. :sorry:

I thought Ronnie made a good play by passing the ball to Martin. It's not Ronnie's fault that Martin decided to fumble and be a total f*ckup on that play.

He got 15 carries, which is more than the other two backs (Ricky and Cobbs) combined.

I think that you may be reading too much into this.

He's been getting limited carries due to the platoon situation (and recovery from ACL surgery) all season long.

Perhaps Ronnie isnt as good as you and the majority of posters here on FH think he is.
