To reach a 1000, there are four games left and we know he won't play this week, with pins in his hand I doubt he plays next week. That being said with 2 games ...maybe left for him will he reach a 1000 yards??? I don't see it.

Well one of the game is against the Colts.
We all know they dont have a very good run stopping D

I think that he has a very good chance. The last two games are against two of the poorer rush defenses in the league (Jets and Colts). So he may be able to get it with just those two games (as long as Mularkey calls some running plays). If he's able to play in a third game, I think he definitely gets it.

The problem with that is with our secondary against the colts we are going to be playing from behind wich means the rushing game is proly going to get thrown out the window early.

If he plays the final three games(Bills, Jets, Colts), yes he will. Ronnie always has big games against the Bills and Jets. Plus, the Colts will likely be resting their starters in week 17.

Ronnie has always had big games against the Jets? he's palyed us 3 times and has had 1 big game.

'05 at NY: 12 rushes, 35 yds(2.6)
'05 at Mia: 12 rushes, 45 yds(3.8)
'06 at NY: 22 rushes, 127 yds(5.8), 1 TD

he will have chances against us b/c while our D overall is MUCH better we still do allow some rushing yards but the points have decreased. We haven't allowed more than 14 points in any of the last 4 games but we have allowed alot of rushing yards(except for the Houston game).

I would say if he plays in 3 he'll get there, if he plays in 2 he still has a great chance. he'll get there most likely.

If you wouldn't have said it first I wouldv'e said the same thing. He may even get all those yards in one game. How long till he has a season like the one Ricky had in the 2003 Dolphin season? It better come soon.

Ronnie will likely get his 1,000....

However, by today's NFL standards, that's not saying much for a #2 overall draft pick. He's been somewhat of a disappointment, merely an average back in my eyes. Let's just put it this way, Ronnie still has a lot to prove before I'd consider him our franchise back of the future....

PHINZ RULE!!!

Yes he does run well against the Jets. Your stats show that. He only got 12 carries in the first 2 games. It clearly shows that when he has a minimum of 20 carries he goes over the 100 yard mark. He wears teams down as the game goes on. So yes, if he does get minimum 20 carries against the Jets he will run for over 100 yards the next game we play.

1000 yds is nothing but average for today's runningbacks....and we're hoping that Ronnie gets 1000 yds?

considering the injury, 1000 yds. would be acceptable. I had pins in my hand once. man, it hurt bad!!!!

In 3 games he has one good game but the stats I show prove he has done well against us? he needs 20 carries?

it took Ronnie 5 carries in our last game to surpass the rushing total in each of his first 2 games against us. On his first 5 carries he had 48 yds- I thought he needed 20 carries? Did he wears us down on the 5 carries?

Ronnie had ONE 4th qtr carry, I guess that throws away the wears down theory?

1,000 is actually below average if a player plays 16 games. That's only 63 yds a game.
