Ronnie to sit out Chiefs game

I figured he would there is no sense in making him come back too fast. I know this isnt really about his knee injury its about his thumb but I dont want a repeat of Culpepper. I would rather Ronnie take it easy the first couple of weeks of the season so we can have him down the stretch.

This is becasue of his thumb, not his knee. I wonder if this means, we won't be seeing Ronnie until the regular season. You usually don't play your starters and main players in the last preseason game.

I'm fine with him sitting out, even if he didn't have the thumb injury his snaps still would've been limited. Get healthy, and get ready for the regular season!

What do you guys think Ronnie's stat line will look like this year? I think it will be very difficult to predict because of the knee. I know he's capable of breaking 1000 yards but I dont think he will this year. The combo of Ricky splitting carries with him and the mental issue with his knee will probably limit him this year.

yards- 825
TD- 5
