I just found a bit of interesting info about Ronnie's combine that I didn't know.
You might know it but i'll post it anyway.

I thought that Ronnie had a great top speed but only good acceleration, which is false, he actually has amazing acceleration, in fact he was tied with Jerome Mathis on offense for the fastest player over 10 metres.
Name Time(s)

Ronnie Brown - 1.5
Cadillac Williams - 1.58
Jerome Mathis - 1.5
Roscoe Parrish - 1.56

He was also tied for 2nd highest score for RB's in the wonderlic.

Sorry if everyone always knew this, I just noticed that though. :goof:

Man!! Heath Miller scored more than almost all the Qb's....thats impressive:eek:

And Ronnie's the only one of those guys who has 230 pounds of momentum behind that 1.5.

This just in!!!

Ronnie Brown is good.... :sidelol:

I know you shouldn't read too much into the wonderlic score, but when you see these kids perform on the field, you can see why people like A Smith and H Miller do well. They are smart

Ronnie's wonderlic score was 23 out of 50, two other RB's tied with 26.....I understand it to be a arbitrary measurement of functional intelligence but neither 26 or 23 out of 50 is setting them up for MENSA membership.

Alex Smith scored the highest, 40 out of 50 for what its worth.

I'd like to see the guy a few weeks ago that posted a claim that Ronnie was slow and had ZERO acceleration speed to speak up now.

Plus, after watching some games that I taped throughout the year and seeing highlight packages made by several on this site, it's obvious Ronnie is a special back.

Exactly.....and another freak is Matt Jones (TE as listed, Slot WR in NFL for Jacksonville), he has nearly the fastest 10yd and 20yd acceleration speeds. Crazy.
