Ronnies Feelings

Now unless you're his best friend it'd be hard to know this lol. But... does anyone know how Ronnie feels about spliting carries? I mean he had to do it at Auburn and will have to do it again next year. I would want to be the feature guy personally, but does anyone know how he feels about this.:confused:

Yeah I think the guy really doesn't care that he shares carries. Would he like to be the feature back? Probably. But he is getting 20 mil. guaranteed to go out there and do his job, whatever that may be. The guy thats feelings I have any concern over is Rickys.

Couldn't agree more, but, wouldn't you get sick of spliting your duties? lol. Plus, we dont want to piss him off where he becomes a T.O.

Funny, I think both backs have perfect mentality and makeup to share carriers. Yes, Ronnie is used to this style with his Auburn days, and Ricky was burnt out over being overused.

Ricky has stated, he is very happy with Miami, the OC, the HC, the RB coach and especially Ronnie.

For whatever its worth, I think this will be the same approach (but better maximized) next year. Ronnie and Ricky sharing the load and both being very, very productive.

I think Linehan will better use both, and wouldnt surprise me with other improved offensive talent, if in at minimum two games, both backs rush for over 100 yds next year in the same game.

Ok, me too. Did you catch the post game press conf and interviews afterword. Ricky was asked this very question, and he couldnt have been more pleased to just let everyone know he is very, very happy right now.

what if the two backs were used in an alternate method as a starter? meaning for game 1 ricky gets a larger percentage of the carries (ronnie is used as a backup to give him some rest) but then game 2 ronnie gets the majority of the carries and Ricky is used as relief) ... this would allow them both to get into game rythm but essentially carry the load every other game.

i actually think it prefers it....and he most definitely benefits from it. I dont know if he can physically handle a whole game's worth of carries.
