They're supposed to be as great as a WR's, but we have yet to see him go downfield for a pass. Why is that? Marshall Faulk and Brian Westbrook do it all the time.
 
Why? Because he spends most of his time in the backfield blocking for Gus. Take a look at the game tape and you will see that Ronnie did an outstanding job blocking in this game. While it doesn't show up on the stat sheet, he was a monster.
 
playcalling and blocking... right now we need him as another linemen because our front five can't do it alone.

add to that not too many plays where he's been called to run out for a pass.

Well let's see that LB he's blocking blitz after he splits out into the slot and catches a 35-yard pass. There's more than one way to combat a blitz.

Tell that to Linehan, there's nothing we can do about it.
 
id like to see him in the screen game a bit, i think they tried once towards the end of the game, and ronnie turned the wrong way, on what looked to me t be a decently set up screen pass. id like to see ronnie in the slot or split out with morris in the backfield at times...until rw gets back
