Rookie power rankings

I think there's supposed to be a point to this power ranking that I'm missing. I mean I don't understand how a player like Matt Forte is above Darren McFadden. Is it for fantasy purposes and who has the most chance of starting or something? I mean it would make a bit more sense that way. Chad Henne has a good chance of starting but I don't really understand why he's number one on this ranking. I guess he's better than Ryan and Flacco according to this guy...

Henne is #1? I think Chad has every opportunity to be the starting quarterback in 2008, but that's a little high for him.

It is just a single draft choice from each team that will make an impact in this persons opinion.

You guys seem to be missing a piece....."The way it works is that I selected one 2008 draft pick from every team in the NFL and ranked them based on their situation, potential playing time and overall impact they will have on the team."
If Henne starts from day 1 this list is pretty valid.

But even with that, I disagree. There are many other players that will play from day 1 and have a bigger impact. I just don't see how Henne will be of the most impact more than anyone in this draft..

Henne might not even see the field next year after the preseason. BP is not going to start the season with a rookie qb.

Based on what evidence. i know I have heard some people say that Parcells does not do that but it has already been stated that Henne is in the mix with the other two qb's and Parcells has only once been on a team that drafted a qb high and that one rookie started. If Beck or Henne start its basically starting a rookie. If Parcells or Sparano want an experienced starter and dont wanna start a young guy then Mccown is the obvious choice. Alot of people act like Beck basically got no coaching last year so if thats true then he almost has no advantage to be the starter.

I agree this is very strange

Interesting, a second round quarterback ranks way ahead of his first round counterparts, playing for a team that isn't going to competing for very much this upcoming season. I guess he's in a good position with the Dolphins, with some weapons like Ronnie Brown, Ted Ginn and a good offensively line coming together. But Chad Henne has always left a lot to be desired for me, his mechanics are not at NFL caliber, and until i see him fix them (not that i'm any kind of scout or anything) i dont see him being that good of a Quarterback.
