This is a testament to the Canes coaching staff for developing there players to the next level:
Don't let Roscoe Parrish's small size fool you.
Generously listed at 5-foot-9, the rookie is the smallest receiver on the Buffalo Bills' roster. More important, he might also be the team's fastest.
"Oh, he can run," veteran defensive back Troy Vincent said Sunday. "He's obviously not 6-4, but he can play."
"Roscoe's quick as a cat," added veteran receiver Eric Moulds. "He's going to be an excellent player for us."
Buffalo's top draft pick, selected 55th overall out of Miami, Parrish made a strong first impression with his new teammates by the conclusion of a three-day minicamp this weekend.
Lining up in the slot, Parrish used an impressive burst off the line to beat defenders deep and across the middle. He followed that by showing he had great hands, making a couple of strong catches on the run and in traffic.
