Plenty of attention has been paid to Miami's two rookie cornerbacks, Vontae Davis and Sean Smith, but another rookie defensive back has been getting acclimated to a more crucial role in the secondary and been impressing the veteran players and the coaches.

I agree but at the same time they have to continue to play like they are now and not drop off.

Id love our secondary in a couple years if we get someone like a Major Wright out of Florida who hits like a ton of bricks and makes picks. he is a great tackler and kind of like Vontae he loves contact.

SS- Major Wright, 21

Wright will be a three-year starter this year at safety. Last season he finished with six picks, 60 tackles, three blocked punts and 10 tackles-for-a-loss.
Wright is an instinctive safety that hits like a truck. He makes good form tackles and explodes through his target.
