Ross is not retiring anytime soon as owner of the Dolphins

I was rooting pretty hard to JJJ. I didn't know anything about him. Konrad was so talented. He was as
good a fullback as I've ever seen. He got hit hard....REALLY hard, and he was never the same.

And yah, maybe he couldn't do the Manchu, but he seems like he's in pretty damn good shape for 70some.
I'm 46 and I'm doing good to stay upright for 12 hours at a shot, but my life has not necessitated me roadmarching
Since '99.

when I went to Benning in 2009 after being out for 16 years . I went to week 8 of infantry training, lucky me day of the 8 mile road march first one in well 16 years lol.
Feet were done and almost fell three times but started at back because was in 4th squad and finished with first squad. Its definitely a young man's game though

Let's just pray that the Singularity doesn't occur anytime soon, otherwise we may be stuck with him as the owner of the Dolphins for the next millennia...

You just know the super rich like Ross will be the first ones to become immortal cyborgs.

I'm a naturally good roadmarcher in general. Not the best, but reasonably good. Not at this weight, but if I dropped a little I could
probably do pretty well. I was the oldest in my basic platoon. When I went into the guard, I was in Cavalry. **** all that dismounted
****. I could roadmarch in my Bradley!

I hate it too lol . mostly the helmet and the ruck sack digging into spots. Recently we had to road march at white sands with the IOTV which is the newer vests and its extremely uncomfortable. Nobody knew but I was dying. We were losing like 5 people a day . Me and another 42 year old went to Benning and were by far the oldest Infantry guys. Most of the soldiers thought I was like 27 the baldspot in back was the only giveaway , my friend was same age but looked much older. Funny how the first sergeant was asking him why the hell he came back in army and didn't realize I was same age. Im so ready to never ruck march again lol

No I'm pretty sure Obamacare has a provision written in there. God knows they covered everything else!

With his time being short, he should buy the championship. Put those billions to use. You cant take it with you.
I am sure he would love beating Kraft in a meaningful game and take control of the AFCE for a few years.
With his money, he could do better than Philbin...that is for sure.

There is this thing called the salary cap!

However, I have a better idea for how to use his money for a lasting legacy since you are right he can't take it to the grave with him. Pay for the modernization of Sunlife and withdraw his request for public funds.

While I don't always agree with the process......I'm not anti-Ross when it comes to ownership of the Phins.

He is loyal to his people
He is not afraid to spend money
He clearly wants to win
He lets the Football people do their job without his interference

That's kind of what you want in an owner. I realize he stubbed his toe with the Sparano / Harbaugh issue, but that is going to happen from time to time and yet, although it was 3 years ago, it still is defining him in most circles.....and so the legend of never landing your prize catch continues to grow. Harbaugh went to the better coaching situation (a team ready to win immediately) and Fisher chose the better QB situation. I personally think Fisher made a mistake and will continue to struggle.

You know what... I know I'm going to get totally flamed here but I think Ross cares, and cares a lot.

He's new. He's learning.

Has he ****ed up? Sure he has.

Once he has it right... i think we're going to be fine.

It was probably a lifelong dream of his. So, good for him doing it, however, it may not have been the right choice for players and fans, lol.

If his dream was to buy the Miami Dolphins he would NOT have tried to buy the NY Jests first.

He seems more and more like Jerry Jones to me. The way he gives interviews makes me nauseous. The owner of an NFL team should first and foremost be a fan of the NFL and understand & respect the pros that work & hold those jobs.

Meaning he should stay the F out of the way

Good. I want him. Man is willing to spend.

Samsung Galaxy S III
well with exception of the 70's era Dolphins owners have never wavered on spending. Huzienga always had the football team spend money
