My question is with different rumors regarding whether Ross can fund his purchase of the miami dolphins, how serious can the NFL take him as a potential owner?

The latest rumor has Huizenga deffering payments in a supposed desperate attempt to "dump" the dolphins majority ownership, how does this effect the view of the NFL?
Is Huizenga as minority owner a safty net in the event Ross falters as Majority owner? Im confussed in some way because I have always thought the NFL was strict on new owners however technically Huizenga as minority owner will still be around so perhaps the NFL views this almost like a "wink-wink" deal where in Ross maybe a little unstable but Huizenga is still around financially so the franchise is still protected.

I do not get how Ross can pass the NFL owners test with all the rumors in the media regarding Ross financial stability.

I thought that before Zygi Wolf bought the Vikes...

someone else was turned away for financial difficulties

I cant beleive that there are no really rich guys out there that can buy the dolphins.
does this mean that there are less really wealthy guys like Wayne but more people that are semi rich ?

meaning , I think there are lots of rich people out there but not wealthy enough to operate a nfl franchize .

The NFL has final say over team sales. They will not allow somone that is unstable financially to buy a team. It simply won't happen.

THey are out there. It's not a questionf *Could* they buy...It's a question of do the *WANT* to buy. This whole thing has to do with Obama's tax plan. Rich guys didn't get rich by makeing poor investments in terms of taxation. I'm sure there are lots more tax exempt honey pots to put thier money in than an NFL franchise.
