Our entire roster is made up of 94 players. 73 of the 94 players were signed after Nick Saban became head coach. 18 of the 94 players were signed under the Dave Wannstedt regime while only 3 remain from the Jimmy Johnson era.

now, can we just go back in time, and erase jimmy and wanny, and act as if Saban came on right after King Don retired ( might be impossible thoguh, considering Jimmy began PUSHING Shula out right after the Cowboys beat the snot out of the Bills for the 2nd time ).

:eek: That astonishing! Wow, not even into his 2nd year and he has almost completely revamped this entire roster. I remember when I was watching a game this year (it wasn't the Dolphins) they did one of those updates where they show you a score or big play from another game. They went to the Miami game to show a Chambers touchdown and one of the anchors said, "Saban has really got that team playing hard." Then the next guy said, "Just wait untill he gets the players he wants in there."

From that day, I knew we had a special coach and knew there was going to be great things to come in the future. He has completely turned around this team and for that I love him. LOL!

Signed by the Dolphins as a free agent on February 27, 1997 ... Was re-signed to a six-year contract through the 2006 season on March 1, 2001 ... Signed a three-year contract extension through 2009 on March 3, 2004.

You can only have a maximum of eight on the practice squad. The others... they become free agents.

The thing about our Practice Squad is that it can be a revolving door. Last year, there were only four players who stay on the PS all of last year (RB Kay-Jay Harris, WR Fred Gibson, S Jack Hunt, DT/OL Orrin Thompson).
