Karma for taking poor John Denney's roster spot after a mere 76 years

Seriously though, the Dolphins must bloody love the new long snapper. First they take him in the 6th round (who the hell did they think was going to take him?) and now they have already sacked the current LS

Hartage is a bit of a surprise. Not that he was great, but thought he would get another look.

Hey Grier, on this LS thing you have going on....:ny1:

He was one of those solid dependable types but there was just no upside. A guy you don't mind having on the roster but you'll take the upgrade when it presents itself. Very Mike Hull-esque.

May the replacement for our sainted one... burn on the waiver wire.

They were undoubtedly unhappy with Pepper and he was going regardless.

I didn't see it from a fan standpoint, but it feels like the coaching staff didn't like what they saw from Pepper last year and maybe blamed him for some of Sanders' struggles. The snaps were not off so much that they were hitting the ground or over anyones head, but maybe it was off just enough to impact timing on some of the fg and punt attempts.

We'll use a long snapper every game...chances someone else in the 6th round is used every game are slim to none.

Listen, I would consider putting John Denney in the honor roll for his 200 +consecutive games record, you don't need to tell me that long snappers are useful. But come on, you can get one in the 7th round or UDFA lol

Well, we were like the 5th team that Pepper has been on, and we kept him the longest. Not sure why everyone is so angry about the new guy. We all coveted Denney, the position is important. Wasn't his fault he was selected in the 6th round. If he indeed helps Sanders, welcome aboard.
