This is from an article by Andrew Healy.

Biggest need: Cornerback -- Last season, depth was their primary problem, as Miami was the third-worst team in football at covering opponents' third, fourth and fifth receivers. And there is no guarantee that Brent Grimes will continue to be an adequate top corner, as he turns 32 years old this offseason.

Quiet need: Linebacker -- The Dolphins only have two linebackers on the roster with more than 10 career tackles. One of them (Koa Misi) has never started 16 games in a season.

Not a need: Offensive tackle -- Questions on the interior of line remain where left guard Dallas Thomas has struggled his first two years in the league, and prospective right guard Billy Turner barely played as a rookie but tackle looks to be set. LT Brandon Albert turns 31 this year and should still have a couple of strong years left. RT Ja'Wuan James played well as a rookie. Swing tackle Jason Fox provides reasonable depth.

I believe this may have been written before the McCain signing so it's relatively old. So maybe linebacker is the biggest need and cornerback is still a quiet need.

OG (No proven starters.)

MLB (Misi is not the answer)

CB (Grimes, McCain as slot/nickel, Bowman is depth/special teams only. No proven quality boundary starter opposite Grimes. Taylor may step up but I wouldn't put all my eggs in his basket)

WR (Stills on one side and Landry in the slot. After those two they have no other proven starter. Matthews has never shown that he can be a consistent starter. Hazel is still a huge question mark..)

S (Reshad Jones and a bunch of question marks)

TE (Cameron needs to prove that he can stay healthy. Sims is a decent #2. Lynch is another unknown)

DT (Suh is a stud. Mitchell is ok. Francis and Johnson are unproven.)

RB (Miller can be a solid starter. Williams shows a lot of promise. After those two there is nothing.)

DE (Wake is not getting any younger, Vernon could be gone next season. Shelby is good depth but I wouldn't want to rely on him as a starter. Fede is unproven. Jordan can't be counted on especially at DE.)

OT (James can be solid at RT, Albert is recovering from a major injury. Jason Fox was on the bench last year while Dallas Thomas started in front of him. Why was he on the bench? Was he not healthy or was he a worse option than a turnstile? If the answer is #2 then why was he resigned?)
