Ireland/Sparano, every year we see and hear the same. Everyone happy with roster, we expect players to step up from previous year.......but then we get the cuts. Not even the expected cuts. We cut starters, i.e Will Allen, Justin Smiley, Channing Crowder, Jake Grove, JAson Allen, Matt Roth, Andre Goodman, Renaldo Hill etc. Then the promising players fail to step up, i.e. the O'line last year and this year, Kory Sheets, Lex Hilliard (not much of a chance), WR's, TE's, back up NT, pass rush OLB, ILB, Nickel corners and back up safety's.

Then when you expect us to fill the glaring holes, with an established FA, Gurode, L.Davis, Mckinnie, or a promising undrafted FA, we sign Columbo, Pat Mcquistan, Cory Proctor, Nate Jones, numerous 4th rate TE's & Tackles, 5th rate ILB's. We have now cut Nate Jones, previously cut Will Allen, then cut Sapp, then re-signed Allen??????? This is not the first time. Same thing occurred with Nate Garner in 09 because we wanted to keep Nalbone & Haynos??????

If the GM and HC are not sure about their roster, surely this filters down the Co-ords, positional coaches and consequently the players.

I watched Baltimore tear the Jets apart Monday night. The Jets D were facing an O'line containing Mckinnie & Gurode. Can you imagine the improvement one of those would have made to our O'line. Why did we not sign L.Davis & leave Carey at RT. Ozzie Newsome also wanted a speed receiver to compliment roster......so traded for Lee Evans.

We gave up a draft pick for Reggie Bush on a 2yr £10m contract. NO Saints signed Sproles to a 4yr £14m contract.

When you look at Ireland's draft's, statistically he is successful at drafting starters, but if you are terrible in both cutting and signing FA's this success rate will go up coincidentally due to failure.

I hope Ross cleans house this offseason. At present we have a team that represents both the GM and HC. Workmanlike without playmakers.

I want a GM who drafts to win Superbowls, not a GM who drafts safe year in year out. I want a coach who is disappointed when we only get 3 points in red zone. I want a coach who improves his area of expertise. A coach players want to play for. A coach who takes on the burden of his team, leaving the players free to express themselves. I want to watch the Dolphins and be excited again. Either through big hits and blitzes or a creative Offense.................... I want Rob Ryan.

You are right in that Ireland is successful in drafting starters, however unfortunately this does not mean they are good or talented. Most of our starters would not be starters on alot of other teams.

I HATE IRELAND AND SPORANO!! They both need to be gone TODAY!!!!!!

Ireland has been successful in acquiring drafted players and free agents to take a previously mediocre team and turn it into a bad team.

When Ireland goes shopping(NFL draft/FA period), he does not buy the name brand items, he buys the discount store brands.

Mediocre and bad talent produces mediocre and bad records and seasons. Nobody can tell me otherwise.
