Rotoworld blurb on Kendricks

Rotoworld is saying that Mychal Kendricks may be available for as little as a 2016 4th rounder. I understand that he isn't an ideal fit at MLB in our scheme, but isn't Jenkins - Kendricks - Misi better than Jenkins - Misi - McCain/ Tripp/ who the hell knows?

Just my humble opinion but I think this would be the way to go. I'd also like to swing something for Mathis but for whatever reason it doesn't seem like we're interested in him... Can't explain that one besides the "youth movement" idea.

Id cut Jordan (and a few other average guys) to make some extra room...definitely has more of a chance to contribute than Dion!!

We have enough linebackers with the UDFA we signed. We can't have proven guys at every position in the cap world.

Even if an UDFA LB like Mike Hull makes the team, he's probably not ready to be a starting MLB in the NFL on day one.

I'd rather sign Spikes than give up a 4th rounder for Kendricks for a one year rental. And that's all he would be unless we shelled out the bucks for a new contract. We have our big pieces in place going forward. We are going to have to surround them with players that are good fits and provide good cap value.
