This is who I'd like to see the Fins draft in Round 3...

ROUND 3 (71) - C Samson Satele, Hawaii
I'm hoping Satele is still on the board when we pick in round 3. But he probably won't be. So, here are some other guys I like in the 3rd round:

WR Jason Hill, Washington St
WR Johnnie Lee Higgins, Texas-El Paso
WR Aundrae Allison, East Carolina

(Of these 3 WRs, Allison is the most likely to be there when we pick. And I think he'd be a steal.)

RB Antonio Pittman, Ohio St
OLB Earl Everett, Florida
DE Dan Bazuin, Central Michigan
CB Tarell Brown, Texas
CB Fred Bennett, South Carolina
DE Tim Crowder, Texas
ILB H.B. Blades, Pittsburgh
C Dustin Fry, Clemson
OG Andy Alleman, Akron
OLB Tim Shaw, Penn St
S Tanard Jackson, Syracuse


What do you say FinHeaven? Who do you like in the 3rd round?
 
Crowder is a possibility at 40. I'd take Satale or Alleman, although I suspect they both go in 2.

DE Charles Johnson, Georgia
DE LaMarr Woodley, Michigan
DE Ikaika Alama-Francis, Hawaii
DE Quentin Moses, Georgia
DE Victor Abiamiri, Notre Dame
DE Dan Bazuin, Central Michigan (3rd rounder)

There's only 32 picks per round, and 7 DEs are projected to go in the 2nd, so at least one of them is going to slip to the 3rd, right?

I suspect Satele will be gone, too. But you never know. If somebody goes with Fry or Datish instead, then Satele could fall.

Alleman had a great combine. So it's going to depend on whether teams like what they see when they watch his game film.

I like Satele and I think he'd be a nice C/OG for us. Everett may also be a nice pick to at least provide depth and a potential starter in the future. Our last Florida LB in the 3rd round turned out quite nicely. Or the last Crowder we took in the 3rd round if you want to consider Tim Crowder.

Absolutely. I'd be happy with any of those guys.
 
DE Ikaika Alama-Francis, Hawaii is the guy Im looking at. I think he will be an obsolutely beast in our system.

I wouldnt say its a horrible pick, he has a 3rd round grade and its position of need. I'm basing pick off of picking Ted Ginn Jr. with 9. (I know, I know reach at 9, IMO he's not)

I like him too....We need to start thinking about the future when JT's not there anymore plus we lost Carter and Bowens so he could rotate in there with Roth and the other guys......I wouldn't use 3 of our top 4 picks on defence tho.
