Why exactly are the Browns picking before us in round 4? :confused:

Im pretty sure that when teams finish with the same records the draft order flip flops every other round. If theres 3 teams then the draft order rotates. Essentially we were given #2 because of our weaker SOS.

Actually it goes by the weaker SOS. I believe our SOS was like 1-2% points lower. So basically the Pats nearly cost us the #2 pick cause if they would have won that game vs Pitt in the reg season our SOS would have been stronger then cleve's. Because NE lost that game we had the weaker SOS and got #2 instead of #3.

Basically it comes down to the team with the weaker SOS was more pathetic because they had the weaker schedule yet still finished with an equally poor record hence we got #2.
