Ruddock *flashed* yes?

Really impressed by the kid tonight.

I think he sticks in the N F L.

Legit doubts he sticks on PS.

Opinions?
 
I was continually surprised with the zip on his throws and how quickly he moved through progressions sometimes. He looked a hell of a lot better than Bridgewater did out there. Very pleasantly surprised with the kid
 
Bounced around with the Lions a bit 2017-2018.

It seems he was on the street when we signed him back in January.

I know it was against 2nd to 3rd team but the kid seems to have pocket sense, moves around pretty good, keeps his eyes downfield, and made some legit throws. I guess our plan is to stash him on PS. But I wouldn't be shocked if some team looks at him as back-up on their 53.

Anyone know what the perceived knock on the kid is?
 
You guys better watch what you wish for. With this oline old boy Ruddock might see some action this.
 
He really made some great throws. Sometimes guys do well in preseason just throwing to uncovered receivers, which happens when the defense sucks. But he really made NFL caliber throws to tight windows. Both he and Rosen did this consistently in the preseason.
 
At risk of repetition....he looked good but was playing against backup (and in some cases backups to backups) defenders.

True. But he got the job done when he had the opportunity.

That's all you can do.

Whatever happens, based on his interview etc., seems like a great kid.

Seems like legit NFL developmental material in my book.

He's gonna stick somewhere. Hope it's on our PS.
 
I don't call playing well "flashing."

I thought he played well, I didn't see him flash.
 
I think he's legit developmental material unlike Fales, Falk, and some of the other wish upon a star QBs we've had in camp in the last 10 years.
