Hey all,

I am going with a friend to Foxboro this Sunday for the Pats Panthers game and I was wondering what the rules or norms were regarding wearing your jersey to a non phins game, especially this one after what happened last week:lol:.....anyone have some experience with this?
 
well i think its stupid i mean were playing at the same time so people will say why arent you watching your own team
 
Wear what ever you want man. I remember when I was about 13 after NE won their first Super Bowl I went with my friend and mom who are both Patriot fans to the stupid rally in Portland, I went because I got to miss a day of school for it(hey I was only 13 that was awesome). At the time I wore my Marino jersey and Dolphins hat. They were also handing out small signs that said PATRIOTS ROCK and other signs that said YANKEES SUCK. I folded the Pats one and got some local radio bumper stickers they were handing out and stuck it on to say PATRIOTS SUCK. Granted I was only 13 so I didn't really have to worry about getting in a fight.

Wear that Phins jersey proud! But yeah, I would rather go to a bar and watch the Dolphins game(which I do every time the Dolphins aren't on tv here) than go to a Patriots game.

For the Giants Pats Super Bowl we threw a huge party - the entire room was split Giants jerseys and Pats jerseys, and there I was sitting with the Giants fans decked out in my Fins gear - including an orange towel which I used as a cape. I was defending out '72 honor. And it worked.

WEAR YOUR FINS GEAR!!!
 
I believe it might be blacked out, but it's not on tv up here anyway.
 
I hope you can fight...I have a lot of expierience with this because I live in NY, but my sister lives in Boston, and her husband is a big wig there who got me a lot of great tickets growing up. I went to about 5 Dolphins games until I was 16, and I would be with my mother and every game 30 year old men would harass me and her. Nothing more than words, but that was back when the Pats sucked. I also used to go to a lot of Red Sox Yankee games wearing Yankee jerseys. When I was 12 a man threw a glass bottle at me out side the stadium, and a cop grabbed him. I was 12 and this was an adult male. I was constantly harrased even though I was so young.
 
My greatest claim to jersey fame was when i was younger my uncle owned a auto reconditioning business and would go to Bryant college to wash Patriot cars, like Bledsoe, Megget, Slade, Mcginest, etc. He needed help so I went and I remembering taking a pic with Slade and Mcginest but after the photo I told them thanks and I'm glad they didnt see my shirt. My shirt of course was a Dan Marino shirt.
 
i wore my marino jersey at a jets game in nj last season and no1 said nothing to me but i did get into a fight with jets fans cause my dad he is a little crazy when it comes to football but halftime was real fun I met some phins fans from miami and we smoked a joint on the ramp..
 
oh since miami isnt playin and its in foxboro id really wish i was u cause i wear my jersey with extreme pride and im in enemy territory (nj)

only thing i can say is i went to a mets game vs marlins with my yankee hat but i cursed out a whole section of fans before i left so just dont be a sissy and stare them down with glare..gl
 
Wear your colors with pride, just dont be a jack*ss about it.
Then again what could those NE yuppies do to you?

I couldn't imagine attending a rivals game when I could be watching my team at a local bar on the Ticket. To each their own I guess. Represent us well and expect the worse. Good Luck to you
