BREAKING NFL UPDATE - Miami Dolphins have received multiples calls this week regarding WR Brandon Marshall, San Francisco 49ers interested.

what do u think is fair compensation for brandon?
do we pull the trigger?

BM can go anytime. I'm going on record as saying it's only going to get worse with him the longer he's here. Bye.
 
If you trade Marshall, that makes Bess our number 1, Hartline 2, and Gates our new slot. Scary thought.
 
1st or 2nd. Do it. Get us some value for BM, Ireland and I'll remember to tip you an extra couple of bucks when you're working at a car wash after this year.
 
2nds and 1sts? Seriously...we would be lucky to get a single 2nd for this guy. Nobody wants a basket case, under-achieving, trouble-maker...

I had to argue with folks last year that this guy wasn't a top 5 receiver, I thought he was at least top 10; but not top 5...I was wrong....he isn't even that good!!!
 
You could pick from a lot of good players in this league if you started waving a #2 around... why would anyone give that or more for Marshall? Sometimes you have to read the writing on the wall.

This is a post Roy Williams trade world. That opened the door for wildly optimistic, crazy return on WRs.
 
Yes yes yes! Accumulate picks for the next regime!

I'll have to change my shorts if we get their 1st. Similarly if we get 2 2nds. Marshall was brought in to let Henne reach his potential. That obviously failed, so pack up to fight another day.

It should have "closed" the doors on them. I don't think anyone is willing to do that now based on the returns Dallas got...and quite frankly...what we are getting.
 
When we were set with Pennington... All I heard was that we needed a true number one receiver. Then we get one. Now we want to get shot for as little as a single second? And the prospect of collecting picks for proven talent so the next regime has more tools is a scary one. Cam had a first and two seconds and we came away with Ginn, Beck and Satele.

Be careful what you wish for. I personally wouldn't dream of letting Marshall go until he's had a proper QB throwing him the damn ball.
 
Hope its not true. People on this site just always wants to find someone to bag on. Marshall had a alright season last year but he was in a bad offense. This year most of the players on our team is playing bad. Give him another year under a new coach and a QB. Also for attitude problems what had he done off the field that is bad. What he got stabbed. He didn't get charged. Also didn't she get caught breaking her restraining order that he had on her a few months after the stabbing.
