I am still hurting over the Zach Thomas trade and now I heard from "a friend" that a trade is in the works to send Jason Taylor to San Diego.

I know the "heard from a friend sounds suspect" but this is a very good source who isnt even into NFL football but he is connected to a certain Dolphins player.

I actually heard about it 2 weeks ago but I didnt want to believe it either because to me it just makes no sense..

I am now resigned to the fact that it is probably going to happen.

I think Taylors MVP play and the sacks and his INT's over the last couple seasons proves he is in fact a great DE/LB who could absolutely cover players in run/pass downs in the 3-4 defense.
 
Have you heard what exactly the trade would go down for? We already have thier 2nd round pick
 
I dont see it happening with SD. We already have their 2nd rounder. Unless its for a 1st round pick, it isnt going down. The price is at least a 2nd and a 4th.
 
Nope, I cant figure out why we would trade Jason Taylor, I mean it's not like the Chambers trade but I keep hearing from my friend it's going to happen.

The whole statement that Taylor & Parcells haven't spoken yet is odd to me also. Especially after all the rumors why wouldnt Parcells make contact and speak to JT?

Hmm...Taylor to San Diego? I'm trying to think where and how much would he play especially with Merriman and Phillips at OLB. I guess they could have one helluva rotation at the position.
 
I really doubt he's going there...IO think he might be traded but to some other team

I would love their first rounder and get Dan Connor.

I could see him being traded due to his age and still great ability but bot to the Chargers and we had better get 2-3 good picks/players for him or a 1st rounder.

Parcell's met with Taylor as soon as he took over. Why would he want to interrupt JT's dancing to talk about media and fan rumors. He's said more than once that he is keeping JT, what else do you need. I'm not saying a trade isn't going to happen, but Tuna is telling the "public" that he is keeping Taylor. That's what he want's people to hear for whatever reason. If he spoke with Taylor, do you think we would hear about it? That would either ruin his lies, or it would be what he already stated (that he wants to keep him)...Stay tuned
