I received word from a VERY credible source that Miami is calling some kickers in as we speak and that Feeley is considered a locker room cancer. Apparently, his relationship with Cameron rubbed some people the wrong way.

Really?

His relationship in what way?

He got on too well with Cam, or too badly?

You'll see in the coming weeks... I can't mention him by name, obviously, but Miami is actively looking to bring some other kickers in as we speak.

Feeley was one of the only players that said publicly he wanted Cam back, so that could give you a clue as to the relationship he had with him.

It would be stupid to get rid of feeley. Then sparano is a liar he said he doesn't care what happend before. everything is 0/0 clean slate.
What is your source?

he always had Cams back.

Ahhh....

He talked a lot, but he seemed cordial and cool IMO.

The DT who we gave the big contract to last year talked wayyy too much IMO...

It could just be to try some other people out, but Miami isn't the type of team to have a guy for kickoffs and a guy to PK.

I was thinking the same thing. I think he's outta here in a heartbeat

If indeed this is true then it is disturbing. As long as we suffered through Mare's inconsistency and to finally have a good kicker it seems like a step backward rather than a step forward. Sure lets dump a good kicker and bring in another mediocre kicker to go along with the rest of mediocre players we have.

Feely came out last week and said what he thought Cam's problems were and backed up JT.

Feely is one of the most respected player Reps in the league.

And teams always look at kickers.

I just don't think Feely should have run his mouth about the players "not wanting Ricky Williams back." I don't think a new player on the team should be saying stuff like this. :shakeno:
