Citing "some good sources around the NFL," the Minneapolis Star-Tribune's Sid Hartman reports Percy Harvin has informed the Vikings that he does not want to play for them anymore and "wants to be traded."

Hartman is a columnist with a spotty track record, so keep that in mind. After explaining that Harvin doesn't get along with the coaching and medical staffs, Hartman acknowledges GM Rick Spielman "is in the driver's seat." Harvin is signed for 2013 and the Vikings could keep him with consecutive franchise tags the following two seasons. Additionally, Hartman reports Harvin won't be in attendance when Vikings offseason workouts begin on April 22.

Go get him. Renegotiate a contract and then make the trade. He is worth a couple of 3rd round picks and or trade a player for him.

Talk about an attitude problem. No thanks.

If we did trade for Harvin would we just inherit his contract or how does that usually work out? As a plan B, or C, Sure I would be ok with that. Definitely rather get Wallace or Jennings tho..

There is literally no chance of the Dolphins trading for Percy Harvin after Brandon Marshall and Chad Johnson. None.

dynamic player, but the migraines and attitude is a no go

No thanks and pretty sure he's trying to force himself to New England. Behaving like an immature baby puts Minnesota in a tough spot because no one wants to trade for him to deal with that type of character. Seems a little too staged to me.

Harvin may have a lot of talent. But he also has a very me first attitude and a huge ass sitting squarely on his shoulders. Not to mention his migraine issues. I think I would definitely pass.

First thought, maybe he's not happy with how much the Vikes reportedly want to get Wallace? Maybe Harvin wants to be the sure #1 and feels jilted that Minny is crushing on Wallace.

Absolutely speculation, and probably wrong, but first thing that popped into my head.

The guy has been nothing but a headache for the FO/organization. Wouldn't be surprised if diva mode is kicking in with the possibility of a new/flashy WR to steal his spotlight.

Even if he came really cheap? (Relative to Marshall trade?)

The guy is an absolute headcase. Major, major attitude problems. Marshall was ON OUR ROSTER and signed to a reasonable contract, and we dumped him because of his off the field issues. Harvin is as bad, maybe worse. No chance.

Well I never heard of Harvin hitting women or police matter issues before so can't say he's worse than Marshall as far as off the field issues. His in the locker room/on field issues is worse than Marshall. Marshall is/was a good teammate. Harvin isn't.

thought he said he wanted to be paid like Calvin Johnson.....no thanks and take your attitude problem somewhere else.
