Anyone who wouldnt trade our 1st rouder for CJ is retarded... Why the hell wouldn't you. He is a 4.3 monster, catches everything, NOT a diva. But.. there is NO way they let him go. They really dont need rb, they have a good young back.. But commmme on. How could you not give a 1 for SLAM DUNK number 1 wr

Yeah. The only thing more laughable than the idea that we wouldn't do it is the idea that they would.

Even Detroit's FO isn't that dumb, and boy are they pretty dumb.

this is nothing but late night dolphins pornography.

no way on earth we snag CJ. Det would understandably want a 1st and 2nd, at the very least, and i cant see us completely mortgaging the future, no matter how much he would help Henne.

The Triforce's M-O would be to pick up their backup guard for one of our extra 7th's.

I dont blame you guys for fantasizing about the Madden trades though, wish we could force button CJ for our 1st, Ginn, Crowder and Porter

Ad much as I would love to see Calvin Johnson in Miami next season, I highly doubt it will happen.

If the rumour is true, I would doubt its anything major, but wait and see.

The Detroit Lions and the Dolphins are in talks in regards trading a lions player to the dolphins in exchange for draft picks and a player that I still do not have any information on. I will report more as news develop. I do not know at this moment if a wide receiver or runningback from each team is involved.
very interesting... ! :ponder:

wonder who are the guys involved... like CK said, there's not really a big name we could be after other than calvin johnson...

shipping joey porter to the lions would be oh-so-funny...

as unlikely as it may be, i'll be dreaming of CJ in A&O when i go to sleep. cant imagine the things henne could do with him and hartline. thats 2 big guys to stretch the field with big plays so cammy and bess can catch 1st downs. no more of this fasano or haynos or polite or cobbs or etc. lined up wide. they'll know were throwing but wont be able to stop us.

I just don't see anyone on that team I would trade draft picks and players for except Megatron.

I would happily give up a 1st and a 3rd for him alone. You're getting a young, physically gifted, proven #1.

The guys drafted this year are all question marks until they prove themselves. CJ has done that.

Oh, I almost forgot.... Kudos to JS55 for being one of those posters who has actually gotten these kind of rumors right. If he says this is happening, I wouldn't doubt it.

Thanks dude!

It's difficult to believe the Lions would deprive Stafford of a weapon the likes of Johnson who's capable of adding so much, not only to his productivity, but also to developing his confidence level. That's unless they are stockpiling more early picks and feel they can scoop up Dez Bryant with one of them. Still, as they say: "A bird in the hand........"
