Run Stop Percentage for Interior DL's

Odrick also on the bottom of that list

Not a good showing for Atlanta, especially for Tyson Jackson who was brought in last offseason for the express purpose of stopping the run.
- The same can be said for Miami who also has two representatives after their run defense collapsed late in the season. It obviously struck a chord in the organization as neither Jared Odrick nor Randy Starks are with the Dolphins anymore.

Yeah, pretty sad production from both. Maybe our LB's were less to blame than we think.

I might be in the minority but i think Misi in the middle is solid. A good run defender. But it would help the team to move him back to OLB and get a true Mike

I take it the full list is available to members only. :idk:

Note: Former Dolphin Kendall Langford also on the bottom rung.

It is, and Mitchell came in at #16 with a 7.5%. This on surprised me.

LBs cant do there jobs when the DL isn't doing theres.

Agreed, and the DL sure as hell did not do theirs last year other than Shelby and OV for the most part.

Like most of PFF's stats, this basically takes one variable of run defense and puts it on paper. This isn't the judge, jury and execution of run stats but just one of several aspects in regards to it.

You wouldn't happen to have Cam Wake's stats against the run?

Yeah Dawg, Wake was #27 of 33 at 4.4%. OV was at #20 with 5.2%. Had to go to 25% team snaps for Shelby, who was #5 with a 10.3%.

Agree that PFF dissect different aspects of the game, and this is just one on stopping the run. They also have all the others as well as overall for each player.

Just saw where PFF has now finished being able to do the same for College. For me, this is a good thing as I don't get to watch college, other than the Cames, close to what I used to.

Add our LB's to this.

For only 4-3 OLB, Jenkins was $4 of 18 with a 17.3%. Going to 25% snaps for Wheeler at #24 with 9.1%

For all ILB's, Misi was #24 of 38 with 6.9%.

There are many who have doubts about Misi in the middle but was last season a good one to judge him on? The guys in front of him were lousy and I think that stupid ankle injury was a factor all season long.

You can't quantify the value Ndamukong Suh brings to your run defense.
