well this is the second thread i have made stating that we need to run the ball more to take pressure off the qb.there is no excuse why we are not running the ball more we are not getting blown out in games to have to pass the ball all the time.what c.pep needs is for us to run the ball keep the defences quessing and not be able to tee off on our qb.im big on stats cuz stats don't lie here is a scay stat the fins have never lost a game in which #23 r.brown had 20 or more touches. oh by the way our only win this season #23 had 26 carries stats don't lie.:dolphins:

Good post, but just one thing wrong with running the ball more.......no O-Line to open holes for Ronnie. Our O-Line is getting pushed all around, or making stupid penalties to nullify any postive yards we get.

I agree we need to run the ball more, but with no good O-line help, that isn't possible.

I agree for two reasons 1. We can't pass protect so running is our best option 2. Ronnie is my fantasy RB so I say give him the ball as much as you can.

I don't think we have to dominate in the run game to win the game...just by running the ball on 1st and 2nd down will shorten the game to keep it manageable....3rd and 5, 3rd and 6 are manageable plays....especially with the way WELKER has been able to find success in the slot.

I agree our O-Line has been AWFUL....but, just by running the ball consistently will give us a great chance at giving the Paytoilets all they want.....

Run the damn ball......run it again.....then run it some more.....keep the game close and win it in the 4th quarter.....

yeah..we need to run a little more..but the o-line is preventing us from being successful at running..once we get that down, Daunte and Ronnie will have big days ahead..it looks like we over paided for shetlon..god hes awful

Yeah, we should have went after a few more O-Linemen and not stop after L.J. Shelton. I know there had to have been a few more big Offensive tackles we could have signed.

Man, I hope we sign a big Center, and another RT. Playmakers, not backups either.

yeah... we prolly could move Hadnot back to RG if we sign a center...Hadnot is good at center but hes better at his natural position i think...Carey has been playing well also but we always can use another RT or other Lineman anytime

Any list of possible Free Agent O-Linemen for next year?? Since I highly doubt Saban will trade for one this year. He also said in his interview, that he is sticking with the guys on the team this year.He must know something, we don't about the players we have now.

if u run and u still get stopped over and over, u keep running anyway. I don't care if your getting zero yards each time. The moment the team makes you one dimensional, you've lost.

100% agreed

Kind of tough when your getting minus yards, thanks to the O-Line.
Trust me man, I agree with you 100000%, it's just frustrating to see the O-Line not producing for us.

The problem here is that the Patriots have a much better run defense than pass defense. The front 7 is brutal to run on, while Harrison and Wilson (if he plays) are tough on the run from the safety position. The way to attack the Pats is in the air especially considering that all of their defensive injuries are in the secondary.

As a Pats fan I would love it if the Dolphins dedicate themselves to the run.

Did they win because they ran, or did they run because they were winning. It's more likely the latter.

Some people cannot separate co-relation with causation. I see it all the time.
