Ryan Fitzpatrick Warns Against Hiring Brian Flores

Here's one quote from the article "...But when people say 'okay, give me somebody from Miami that coached under you as a reference so we can talk to them.' I think he burned a lot of bridges there... instead of having the humility to ask questions, to collaborate, I think by the end of his time there, he became a dictator. He ruined a lot of those relationships..."
 
This was like a year ago but still relevant. I think the guy is a race card playing little prick. However I do think he can coach. Hopefully he grew from this and learned to take some responsibility for HIS HUGE PART of the failures with the Dolphins. I do think everyone deserves a 2nd chance.
 
Sort of torn, might be a prick but he's clearly a good D-coach. He might've come off as a dictator because the people he was expected to "collaborate" with were wrong about the direction of the team. Was bang on about Tua. Sometimes an asshole is an asshole, but to some people, anyone holding them accountable is an asshole so who knows what he's really like. Was smart enough to drag Van Ginkle away at least.

lol, because Ryan measured like 1/2 a pound as he says over his target weight Flores held him financially responsible, and that's why teams should stay away from Flores. Funny.
 
Flores, as we know him, is not fit to be a head coach - regardless of QB. He can be right about Tua evaluation and not be head coach material. It’s called being right about an evaluation.

The dude has zero people skills. And being tasked to be a leader of men; those two things don’t work.

Totally great choice for a DC role cause he has talent and can lead through fear and since there is someone above him, he has to keep his lust for power in check.

We could make a giant list of guys who are good coordinators and not good options for head coach. Hell, one just exited the building.
 
A risk with any coach but especially the first timers. They almost all have a lot to learn. McDaniel had a different set of issues, other end of the guardrail. Will be interesting if Flores learned something or not.

Or it could be that no decent offensive coaches will be willing to work for him.
