The Miami Dolphins have promoted wide receiver Ryan Spadola from the teams practice squad to the active roster, the team announced.

The 6-3, 200 pound Spadola joins Miami’s active roster after spending the past three weeks of the 2013 season on the teams practice squad. He originally entered the NFL with the New York Jets following the 2013 NFL Draft, signing with the team as an undrafted free agent on April 27, 2013. After making the Jets roster out of training camp, Spadola saw action in two regular season games and was inactive for one game prior to being released on October 5, 2013.

I think most expected this to happen when no one was traded for....

predictable. hopefully the remaining WRs don't get hurt so we don't need him. we lost too many weapons. Keller, Binns, Gibson now Martin is probably done

I wouldn't consider Martin a "weapon", but it hurts our depth.

yea I didn't mean to put him in that group but he is a big loss since we need to rely on Clabo now

This is gonna be maybe too much of an uphill battle, but be that as it may, opportunity 2nite for Matthews to shine (providing he doesn't get jobbed by more agenda-following refs.. which we and he might considering who was on HK this season).

I made a promise to myself to buy a #87 Spadola jersey if he actually makes an official catch in Dolphin uniform. I graduated from Lehigh in '88 and am psyched to see him get picked up by Miami.

All the more proof that Tyms should have been on the 53. SMH.

Tyms is more physical and more talented than Spadola. Heck, he's more talented than any WR not named Wallace. STILL can't let it go that the front office let such mediocre stuff be our WR corps. And TEs. And RBs. And OL...

Obviously a calculated strategy. Since we will have one less decent blocker on the line, let's send out a quick slant WR for Tanny to get the ball out in .5 seconds before he gets hammered!
