That's right. Yes he has had growing pains, but what QB hasn't? And we are sure glad he is passed that. A lot of people make the mistake that Tannehill isnt the answer because he isn't lights out like Rodgers, Manning, Brady, Brees or any other top QB of the class. No, Ryan Tannehill is simply, Ryan Tannehill! And that's a good thing. Yes there is still some issues that need to be address like his long ball accuracy and other small minor things, but the kid showed what he was picked top 10 in the draft. And I'll admit, seeing him play let me to doubt him and think maybe he was not the answer at QB. I'll eat crow and say "I'm sorry Ryan" You can't blame him for all the loses, in fact, Tannehill has led the team to winning drives and has answered opposition scored drives. Its the Defense that has been the let down, rather should I say, its Coyle. People chewed me out when I said Coyle was not good. AND HE ISN'T. Look, Tannehill is the real deal. Look at the losses,

Against Buffalo - You can't blame him completely. That was a pure TEAM LOSS, we just got man handled by Buffalo, no blocking, no catching, special teams play all to ****. TEAM LOSS

Against Chiefs - This is the only game I actually think Tannehill struggled in. Although the team did struggle, Ryan did to. (Ok big deal one game) all top QBs have a bad game here or there

Packers - Say what you want, even though Ryan played like crap the first half, he adjusted and came out and played well, he lead a game leading drive, only to see the Defense slip it away - DEFENSE BLAME

Lions - Again, Tough physical game, but Ryan came through and led a winning drive, Defense failed again - DEFENSE BLAME

Denver - Defense meltdown the whole game, that INT late in the 4th, that was on the WR. - LOSS ON WR and DEFENSE

So if I hear again another post on how Ryan Tannehill is not the answer at QB, then I have to assume they really dont see anything with their own eyes. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but it doesnt mean they are smart ones. So lets hope Defense can turn it around and win the rest of the games and see where the chips fall. Miami is still in a good position to make it. not sure why everyone is saying taht the season is over, nothing is OVER UNTIL they are mathematically out. Enough said. FINS UP!

and forgot to mention we would be 9-2 had it gone our way. but oh well, cant look back. LETS START OFF BY GETTING THE JETS!

RT has a long way to go to greatness. But the foundation has been laid.

He has learned his fundamentals better than anyone lately minus maybe Luck who already had mad skills.

He is climbing the ladder, which was my complete expectations this year. Even if we do not make the playoffs by missing on too many teams who many have played the worst division in football, people should not look at the season as a failure. Hickey still has to put his stamp on this team and we need some power at RB and LB and maybe even DT with some more good CB's to take us to the next level.

If Miami simply had a TE physical enough to hold onto the ball against smaller DBs, that Detroit game is a win even w. the defensive fail.

Miami's weapons at TE and 2 WR are simply pathetic. And w. the patchwork mega-challenged OL, Miami never should have been in that Denver game.

RT raised all levels w. his play, though.

Tough Son of a Gun. Arrow pointing up on this QB.

To me RT is the best QB we have had since Marino. Fiedler and Pennington were ok, but not around long enough to be a true franchise QB. Very few QB's just step in and play well early in their careers....Marino did, but Elway, Manning and other greats got off to slow starts.

RT looks more confident and comfortable out there week by week. He seems to make better decisions and knows when to run for yardage and when to throw it away. His accuracy and passer rating is going up. If we can upgrade a WR or two and get him a Gronk type TE and another quality O-lineman, his upside is sky high.

I agree, I think next year should be focused on MLB, TE, OL, SS. You give Tannihill Red Zone Weapons and its a whole other ball game

I expect Ryan to take a HUGE STEP next year.

I agree, I expect the major growing years are now behind this kid. He's easily the best QB we've had since #13 hung it up. I'm confident with his evident growth, the deep ball touch is gonna come with time. Get this guy a big WR/TE, and he'll be setting this league on fire.

I for one am very excited about the kid, seems like a great person, role model, and lots of potential.

Tannehill is having a great year and still has lots of upside. Now to fill in some of the other pieces.

why cant the haters just stop hating and relax, be happy we have a solid kid in charge for now, no other qbs are out there in the comimg draft class or in free agency, be happy go w/ the flow and hopefully he will make you guys believe!!

I can't stress enough at how this team is lacking at the skill positions.

Sims would've held on to that TD in the endzone against the Lions.

come on phinatic stop...go rewatch that pass to clay in the ez against detoit, the ball was clearly behind him and he caught it on his hip, giving the db just enough time to knock it away. it was a bad pass....im not saying tannehill is not the answer but lets see what happens the last 5 games of the season before we go anointing him a franchise qb.

go look at every qb in the NFL.

Go watch the all 22 of there games, they all throw bad passes that there guys catch. Can't expect the qb to be perfect but if it's a little behind Clay it's ok. GTFO with that bull****. I played the sport, it's not as easy as it looks on TV.
