You've gotta love Peter King, the guy is so realistic and thorough. No shame in losing close one to one of the best team in the league. I called that loss "shocking", shocking that we scored 36 on offense against a very good defense on the road. Shocking agin that our defense would not even show up for the game. Were they drugged ? I saw the pre-game clip and usually the guys are pumped and fired up or something but the clip I saw our defenders looked like they just woke up. Was it the high altitude ? When is Philbin going to win a game after a long lay-off ?

RT17 is the real deal and we have to keep him, Lazor and Hickey no matter what.

I remember when Peyton Manning was a rookie and the Colts played the Marino led Dolphins. It was a close game, but the veteran Marino made the plays to win at the end of the game.
Manning left the field a loser, but you could see that he was going to be good.
I think that game yesterday was symbolic of that game. A changing of the guard.

You have to feel good about how Tannehill has played after the first three games of the year. The interception late was unfortunate. Miami was on the move and likely scores to win it, instead of Denver putting it away. I was really disappointed in the defense yesterday, lots of missed tackles, easy passes for Manning, no quarterback pressure. Not sure what happened to the D.

I said out loud when we got the ball back with 5 minutes left that we're finally going to turn the tide and drive down to win a game in the last minute. And then a few plays later we are down 11 and it's pretty much all she wrote. Then Tanny and the team do the unthinkable and drive it right down their throats. If it hadn't been for that final drive I'd not feel as optimistic about the loss yesterday and our future as I do. But that drive showed incredible heart and determination. I'm very excited that it looks like we've got our franchise QB!

Couldn't agree more. Good post

We Lost, Again. Chad Henne stood toe to toe with Brady and Manning too. Get a life dude.

Not like that, I'm not one for moral victories, but Chad never went 5/5 in the red zone and controlled a game like that.

Stop with these idiotic posts that make no sense! When did Chad Henne ever do what Tannehill did yesterday??? If you can't see the improvements Tannehill has made in his game especially in the last 5-6, then you clearly have let an agenda control you.

Dont pay attention to him... he is a downer

I understand being down on the team...it's heartbreaking being 6-5 when we could just as easily be 8-3 or 9-2 but bagging on the quarterback after he gave us arguably the best game of his career is just silly! Tannehill did everything he could to lead us to victory, it's not his fault our D couldn't seal the deal in the 4th quarter.

God dammit when will these old ass ****ers ****ing retire!? ****ing retire already!! Everyone is sick of brady/Manning. Time to move on fellas!

I want to respond the less kind way, but seriously. P-E-R-S-P-E-C-T-I-V-E. Do you know it? This is not a ****ing Henne-esque Dolphin team.

it's not his fault our D couldn't seal the deal in the entire game.

Fixed it for you. It's like when Romo scored over 40 in Dallas, and was still outscored by Denver and lost. Any time an offense scores that many points (with no help from defensive turnovers), the blame lies elsewhere. The defense played bad (considerably) for one game, I have faith they will rebound.
