“We talked. I’m not going to get into what I said, but everyone already knew that it wasn’t acceptable how we came out and practiced," Tannehill said. "We have limited days. (The) season is coming upon us, and we have to be ready to go when the first game hits. (We) can’t have a wasted day, and to me, that was kind of a wasted day. I think everyone realizes that and doesn’t want to let it happen again.

Huge.

My embedded Twitter link didn't work for some reason. Sorry.

Has he learned when to throw the ball away? Has his pocket presences got ant better?:rolleyes2:

I'm excited to see what this sense of ownership brings to the team. I'm excited to see how Tannehill grows with a staff with, what seems like, a good grasp on sports psychology. I could see a season similar to Saban's 1st. The difference in intensity should be obvious from Day 1, and by Week 10, I think Miami will be playing good ball on a consistent basis.

**** I hope so. It sucks when by week 7 you're already out of the playoffs and wondering why you paid so much money for Sunday ticket....again.

Worst case scenario he is average again and we start exploring the draft for a new guy to groom under Gase. Best case he has a just before mid-career Bree's like blossoming under the guidance of a young new "offensive genius" head coach.

Lets hope this improves his 3rd Down, 4th Quarter, and Red Zone struggles.

Tanny said that Gase enabled him and he now has the credibility to demand excellence.

This is a trait of an elite QB' and elite coaching. If this shows on the field, mixed in with the ability to audible and better pocket pressence.......we just might have a Pro Bowler.

This is nice, but let's see it on the field when it counts. That said, this fits within the overall trend of things we're seeing right now, which all point to "Adam Gase could be a really good coach."

So much of what we see of him so far is very refreshing compared to a lot of what we've seen since the turn of the century. Now we are going to find out whether or not the job is too big for him.

So he's been bang average all pre season training and one quote means he's suddenly back. I need to stop reading this crud. Might as well flick a coin to see his progression.
