The Miami Dolphins are all-in with second-year quarterback Ryan Tannehill, but he is on a turnover streak that would make any quarterback cringe.

Tannehill is not playing bad football. But his untimely turnovers are killing the Dolphins, who have lost four straight games.

Tannehill added three more turnovers Sunday in a 27-17 loss to the New England Patriots. He had two interceptions and a fumble following a sack that led to a touchdown and greatly changed the momentum of the game. Tannehill has 10 turnovers total during Miami’s four-game losing streak.

“Obviously we aren’t at an all-time high right now,” Tannehill said after the game. “But we’ve got to get back on track. That’s the only option we have.”

Tannehill is having trouble with both interceptions and fumbles. His two picks came on a pair of bad throws that killed drives. Tannehill’s third-quarter fumble also led to a short field and was part of New England’s run of 24 consecutive points in the second half.

I can live with his last pic. A desperation throw. I can almost live with his first pic, but have a hard time with it. I'm livid about his fumbles.

Yes, people can say Bradybunchen fumbled too, and it's true. It happens. But EVERY TIME he takes a hard hit?

If he's being coached to keep both hands on the ball until he's ready to pull the trigger and he's not doing it, he needs to be benched. If he's not being coached to do that, the QB coach needs to be fired. Son-in-law or not.

If he's being coached to tuck the ball and run and he's not doing that, he needs to be benched. If he's being coached to eat the ball, the QB coach needs to be fired. Son-in-law or not.

Etc ....

There is a massive failure here and if Philbin doesn't fix it, he needs to be fired.
 
14 turnovers in 7 games this year. Last year Ryan had 17 total turnovers in 16 games.
What a step backward.
 
It's time for the team to get very conservative in its gameplanning and coaching with regard to Ryan Tannehill IMO.
 
All of Miami's 14 turnovers this season have come from RT17

No other player has turned it over. Very unusual.
 
I can understand being upset with his INTs. BUT A LOT of his fumbles are the result of him getting murdered by the pass rush. He got totally demolished on the blindside yesterday. ANY QB would have fumbled that ball 9/10 times. WE NEED to protect the kid. The protection is good during portions of the game, but when we miss on a block we make it count...and he gets killed.

We need to invest in the O-Line during the offseason by draft or FA. If we can buy the guy some time, I am certain we can do better next year.

Protect the Kid? Quit drinking the Kool Aid. Matt Moore might be starting in 2 weeks.
 
Yeah - He is a Kid. This is 3rd year playing QB Pepperwood. I'm not drinking Kool-Aid. Moore will get lit up too. Wait and see. No one could play behind this excuse for a line.

Why are you taking do much pleasure in our qb failing? Is it because there's a plethora of talent in next year's draft??? Better go check as your joy may take a serious hit.

Last year Ryan dropped back just over 30 times a game. This year it is just over 40 times a game.

To many IMO
