I think Sanders might even be better than Polamalu at this point. His impact on their defense in the playoffs was remarkable.

Obviously I'm praying that Jason Allen works out for us this year. A lot of the best safeties in the league did very little their first seasons, so it wouldn't be unexpected if he had a breakout year. I really think that we should hand him a starting spot at safety this year rather than drafting a guy like Nelson or Landry. There good players, but I don't really agree with drafting a safety two years in a row. If he doesn't work out, then move him to corner.

Reggie nelson reminds me alot of bob sanders. Landry doesnt remind that much of sanders though.

No guarantee that either of those guys would be better than Allen. Allen is athletic as any safety you will find in the league.

I fully expect Allen to start this year and make big strides in becoming a dominant, ball-hawking safety we drafted him to be. The defense is suprisngly complicated, Y. Bell said it was by far the most complicated defense he's ever seen. Look for Allen to be a high impact player this season because of his athletic ability and he is a sideline to sideline player. Capers will also help him out.

Uh, I like Jason Allen, but I would take those two over Jason if they we're in the same draft. Sure, Jason Allen is a good prospect and he will be a good player, but Nelson and Landry [especially Landry..] are insane.

Bob Sanders and Jason Allen are similar in ways. Bob didn't play much his first season. He only started to come on after half-way through his second season.

Bob is a better saftey than Troy he is much better in coverage than troy and they are both pretty good in run support.

A mini Troy Polamalu? Polamalu is only 5'10, Sander is 5'9. If anything Sanders is a little bigger cause he's thicker and got a lot more mass to him.

I think Allen will get a long looking over during camps and preseason. I believe he will be starting at safety by week 1.
