well i'm hoping for some more wins but you have to look at the teams picking before us at this point and wonder how they're going to win anymore games this season honestly i have no idea

What is he suppose to say? Gus sucks? Sage sucks too? What will that accomplish for the remainder of the season? No one needs to come out and say it. It's blatently obvious that we need help at the QB position.

I'm right there with most everyone having high hopes entering the season but the reality of the situation is Wanny put us back a couple years. We've beat some very good football teams and have been close to beating others. Unfortunately, we lack consistancy to be a playoff team.

theres a reason hes a head coach and we are all on this blog, you all would throw your players under the bus and you all would be cancers to any locker room because we have a bunch of know it alls. im confident in saban u all need to take ricky williams spring break package including 5 night stay at his luxury resort in CHINA in the mountains and they give out complementary bags of grass for your relaxing and when your done with this package maybe you can be a little more patient then expecting a 4-12 team to turn around to a 12-4 team, u guys are outa your minds, i expect 8-8 at best but to be honest, i kind of rather go 4-12 then 8-8 just to be the middle of the pack... remember that game in foxboro vs the pats and we all had to come back out on the field to play the last 5 seconds , when the pats shoulda took the loss and got the better draft pick, this is where we will rise above them , and remember, bilichick was at ne before he got there the second time. this is a completely new team we are making

They've beaten some very good teams and have lost some close ones. Personally, that just shows me they are making improvements. Unfortunately, they haven't been able to win many of those games but to me I feel they are making strides. Last year I just felt they were completely hopeless.

I believe in Saban. I like what I hear from him. I like the fact he has a sense of direction and goals for the team. I never got that from Wannstedt.

Everyone is different and people may think this team sucks just as bad as last year. Well, that's their perspective and that might be yours too. My perspective is a bit different. :)

I agree. The difference is that Saban has a plan to get better. He will stick to his plan and only have players that buy into his plan. He'll stick to his plan even if fans don't like it. Difference from the last 5 years is that there was never a plan in place to better the team. Just continued to get worse each year. I'll give Saban a couple of years to see if his "plan" is working.
