Saban believes AJ played better than Gus more times than not. Look at this quote by Saban. “It has seemed the entire preseason, whichever quarterback played second has played best.'' Since AJ played second 3 out of the 4 games, doesn't that mean AJ played "best" 75% of the time in Saban's opinion?
AJ should be given the opportunity to play with the starters for a full quarter next week. I think he would do a lot better than Gus has done.
