sage isn't gonna play guys. gus is nick's guy and sage is from previous regime. basically he did the same thing today he does in every press confrence; makes excuses for gus and says everyone else needs to execute. it's getting old.

I believe Gus has one more chance, if he sucks against NE I believe he will be replaced. Also, now is not the time to switch QB's, before New England.

Everybody else needs to exacute? WHAT?!

The line did there job, R&R did there job... The Recievers seemed to be getting open... The only one that doesn't appear to be exacuting is Gus...

Is Saban afraid to lose Leinhan's friendship of something?

I was afraid of that....I thought Saban would be different...it appears he's not. As long as the Dolphins play Gus....it isn't going to get better...and we'll never know if Sage or Lemon can be anything in the future.

He is in denial. Face it Gus is terrible. We aren't going anywhere this year. Play Sage for 4 games. Play Cleo for 4 games.

And figure out what we need to do from there.

How many one more games does he deserve?

Saban ---------> Linehan----------> Gus. Get the picture?

I agree, throwing Sage in there against NE, is setting him up for failure... One more chance for Gus, if he fails... we have the Browns, in which Sage should get his chance.

Agreed

I thought it was pretty obvious from the start of the season that it was going to be gus this year no matter what happened. i think saban just wants a veteran in there. i know its pretty bad but we just have to face it.

Why would it be setting him up to fail? As a QB...he would have to face ALL teams....better to see how he plays against the better teams than the weaker teams.

Dont be so sure of that. Saban is seems to me just wants to play out the season. He wants to see what players respond. Now, I know none of you gushaters want to hear this, but what if Saban is looking to find out psycologically who will act like a team player and who is going to be an azzhole? Did any of you every think of that?

Saban does not really care about this year. This is not his full team in his opinion. His team is being developed. And part of that developement is figuring out who is a team player and can just accept there resonsibility for when they screw up instead of blaming someone else.

yeah because saban standing behind gus for 8 games is the equivolent of wanny standing behind jay for 4 years. you know...now that you mention it? Saban and Wanny are exactly the same!!!!!
