Dont u think Saban deserves to be coach of the year for all the things that he has done since he came to miami? He basically turned this program around and made this team a super bowl contender. :dolphins:

Well considering this season hasnt started yet and last season is over and he didnt win

Coach of the year is soooo far away, no-one knows who deserves it or doesnt at this point

he will get the honor this year if we go 11-5 or better which we will go

Well 2006 hasn't happened yet, and for 2005 Lovie Smith deserved it hands down. The Bears were almost as bad as we were in 2004 and became a playoff team from one year to the next.

Read my words hes gonna be coach of the year. u know why, because next season the Dolphins are gonna be Super Bowl Champions!!!! at home

Im not sure we are a super bowl contender just yet.Are db's are week IMO and we need better depth at rb if Ricky is gone.We might be playoff contenders but im not sure we are ready for the super bowl but u never no.

Too many viables before I'd make that statement, this team right now, has potential, and I, like the next phin fan, always want them to go to the SB, I also recognized that we have a new QB, a new LT, and brand new DB field, new LB'(s), and will have a couple of draftees added soon, all in their first year of this system. We still don't have a b/u qb, and he will have to learn the system when we do get him. Are we as powerful up the middle of the OL as we need to be? and what depth do we have on the OL..for that fact, what depth do we have at WR? Ricky's situation still in queston, even though I like Morris as a backup. Most of all, we have new Corrd..both O and D, and I have no idea how they'll call the game, especially O wise since this isn't Mulacki's system. That might make him hesitate at critical times. All this could take some time to work itself out.

What has Saban done since he came to Miami?? We hardly had a winning record, and missed the playoffs. In what world does that deserve Coach of the Year considerations?

I agree but men im so excited about next season. just thinking that we may have a chance to play the super bowl at home:dolphins:

i like what Saban has done and should definately get some consideration, but i think Lovie Smith has done a tremendous job in Chicago and IMO will win the award.

No, he didn't deserve it last year and this season has yet to begin.
