• Barrett Green, LB: Repeated disagreements with Giants coach Tom Coughlin.
• Isaac Hilton, DE: Convicted of 2002 strong-arm robbery, served three-year probation.

As a college coach he had a reputation for taking on problem children if they seemed like they brought something to the table. Wow, Hilton really went off the deep end at one point. So maybe Vick is not so bad lol.

I say just cut all of them except anyone that can fill our hole at OLB.

LOL i noticed.... :sidelol:

Hilton, who spent last summer in Carolina's training camp, was convicted of strong-arm robbery and is serving a 10-year suspended sentence for robbing a pizza deliveryman of his car and $20. The defensive end has served his three-year probationary period for the 2002 crime.

Well... you've got to understand that the UDFAs that are being brought in were undrafted for a reason... alot of them are character concerns...

Not to mention... I dont expect anyone to have been perfect throughout their whole life.

And some of those guys didnt do crap to make me think they are a character concern. Stevens "disturbed the peace"... you can get that for having your Subs too loud in your car (like my avatar)... and Walden left Oregon after disagreeing with some coaches. There isnt even anything wrong with that. The guy didnt like his coach... so he left...

Now Hilton on the other hand...

You never know, one of these guys could turn into a stud, and it would be bc Nick gave them a chance. I think that these kids will play harder be he is doing this favor for them

Well put

AHMAD BROOKS ....SUPPLEMENTAL DRAFT I'd give a 4th round and maybe even a 3rd....that me BROOKS & CROWDER good future LBs

and don't forget how well turley has treated ALL his coaches!

the thing thats so funny to me is how so many people across
the boards were saying how one thing we could bet on, when
saban becomes coach, you will NEVER see him reach for players
or bring on questionable characters or injury bug types ala j.j.
and wanny. won't happen!

and now, the team is littered with those types!

but, this is no reaching, this is "masterfull, well thought out
strategy to find talent anyway possible. saban knows what
he is doing".........

uuuuuuuhhhhggg!!!!!

i think is not bad because is al bout chances i think that bunch has alot of potencil so i know that the team might have to watch out for the trouble makes but any1 can chnage is the right inviorment

Too bad Rae Carruth hasn't made it to work release yet. Theres still hope though; Maurice Clarett may only get probation!

true, but Marino dropped in the draft due to the drug rumors swirling around him. so I guess its worth trying these guys to see if theres a diamond in the rough.
