that explains the sudden change in attacks on Miami and Saban. Remember a couple weeks ago when PFT suddenly praised Saban out of the blue and stated that he would eventually hold the trophy? They also removed several stories that cast the coach in a negative light?.. makes sense now.

Proves my point that when he reports something about the Fins, some of you guys can't get all worked up. That he REALLY DOES have a source or a mole inside the organization.

I'm not one to say I TOLD YOU SO, but.......

Of course its legit! When newspapers (real newspapers) take items you run on your website and report them, you are legit. When you "outscoop" ESPN, CBS, NBC...etc on "big stoires" you are legit!

Just because you don't like him. Or what he reports sometimes, doesn't mean he isn't legit. You think because if something is "negative" about the Fins, that he must have made it up. It's BS! Just because the guy reports on football in a different manner than most are used to, using comedy and sarcasm, doesn't mean it isn't legit.

The guy isn't reporting the War in Iraq, poverty, world hunger, or serious issues. He has fun with what he does. Doesn't mean it isn't legit.

With him it's like having Sammy Sosa at the plate. Hit or miss, he misses a lot.

Some of it is. Some of it isn't. The only problem I have with PFT is you have to sift through the sh*t to get the spice.

Sorry, bud. That only demonstrates the pathetic laziness of some reporters.
 
My problem is all it takes to be an "inside source" on PFT is pure speculation from a fan on an internet message board. I TRULY beleive he has not gotten a single "scoop" from an inside source. PFT just reports every rumor they hear on the fan boards as truth... and if it sticks they boast like they are some sort of gods.

It has worked because as we all know fans of a team will have a better pulse for the team than most reporters. A perfect example is the Daryl Gardener situation... EVERYONE saw it coming that he would be cut/traded that was a Dolphin fan (I know I called it months before PFT even mentioned it) but because the front office was being secretive, no official website would report on it... but since PFT has no integrity rather than saying "WE THINK Gardener will be cut or traded" they said "An inside source says Gardener will be cut or traded" and when the inevitable happened they somehow gained credibility.

If you throw enough **** at the wall, eventually something will stick... and that is their approach to journalism.
